Use corks please. They help keep your water pressure up, they're cheap and they stop the drip-dropping of the water everywhere

i actually dont think they affect pressure anymore. pressure is set by the intake pipe, and reduces by every length of pipe.

Pro tip: Use the t1 shovel to find "lowest" harvestable dirt of that tier and plop a shovel full under the t1 drills. It should spit out the biggest chunks of that tier. Once you unlock t2 drill, get the t2 shovel and dig till you fin the "lowest" havestable dirt for t2 and plop a shovel full of that under the t2 drill which will give you the biggest chunks of t2.....so on an so forth when tier 3 comes???

When pipes aren't the correct distance from you (so you have to jump to place them etc.) you can use the scroll wheel to move them further or closer away from the player :)

I’ve put 33 forged iron drills at the bottom of the starter mine (Ember’s cradle), been really profitable so far! Might wanna try that out Matt:p Edit: make sure you go and sell your bucket o’ gens once in a while if you decide to collect them in a single bucket…or your computer may or may not explode due to lag

Yeah, the game doesn't have a proper progression system yet. You can get everything but onyx from Ember's Cradle, and gems are purely to add some bling to jewelry. It's starting to grow though, having to craft extra and tier 2 stuff.

11:12 the Onyx is so rare in fact, that if you combien other gems into bigger gems, the common gems get more expensive while the onyx gets left behind, its good for starting out, but after a while, rubies are better as those are the most common to be found. so they get mroe pricier more easily, a little ballancing issue i think. also, be like me! have no life and 100% clear ember cradle from dirt and become a millionaire with only 4 tier one drills, a shovel and way to much time on my hands! O-O

Hey matt! Love the content! The tier one drills can drill down to level 8, so if you use concrete foundations, you can find 8 block heights down, and that will get you the largest size resources with the tier 1 drill, tier 2 can do any height :)

Hey Matt, if you put your bars in the wash pan you can carry around multiple bars at once! The pan has no collision inside once things are at rest meaning you could fit the whole gold dam into a pan.

If you raise your t1 drills a little bit you can put T2 dirt underneath of the drill and it'll be as if you're down in the bottom in T2 dirt

the dirt at the bottom is t3, which has no way to export resources as of now. Therefore you have to up up a little; 8 grid placements. This allows you to get to t2 dirt. 8 above that is t1 dirt. You can guess that a t1 machine can break t1 dirt, and t2 can break t1 and t2 dirt.

Buy the magnet on a stick Real Civil Engineer to collect resources in clumps and connect your press to the conveyor system and use it to compress the different gem types together, it's faster and saves your FPS.

Suggestion: at the end of your Maschinery use 3 cornerpipes and let the gems drop into the compactor. You can make big gems with that.

You should put the logic compressor you bought at the end of the line where the gems are going, then you can just compress them into larger gems that are worth more by just pulling the lever when you have a buildup of them

so in 2.0 they are focusing on a progression system in tiers. tier 1 is iron drills, iron excavators, and dull tools. tier 2 is cloutium machines and common tools. tier 3 doesnt exist yet. dirt also has tiers, around 10 grid squares down is each tier. the problem is tier 3 dirt does exist, and explosives can still mine it. so you can blow your way into tier 3 where no equipment exists at all to mine it.
