I am 53 and retired at 50. 1 thing I did do to retire early was to get out of the 401K and IRA programs. Bought rental real-estate and I am now a Limited Partner in about 1500+ units from collabrative efforts in the fund my estate planner has me invested in. I do not work
@Kseniaramesh29 күн бұрын
I only contribute 5% to get full company match, that's it. The 401K plan is designed for you to work until you are about dead. Also, the government does not have their hands on it yet either
@Bigwilli12329 күн бұрын
My wife and I live off of our 401K. We don't work. I recommend highly to everyone to build your 401K or Roth IRA's as an alternate revenue stream in retirement to your Social Security. An observation on 401K's is when it gets over 300K it starts to accelerate. When you get over 500K it can really accelerate as the stock market grows

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

There has been no word on what they will use Barnwood for. Also Edna's on the Green has been open for several years, it has music in the afternoon 365. It has reached 100+ villages, and is more than 140K people. That’s already been confirmed. Also, you numbered the squares wrong. Spanish Springs is the first square because The Villages was built from north to south. Lake Sumter Landing was the second square, and Brownwood was the third.

Even though it sounds large, in each little neighborhood, it feels very small town! We know our neighbors- we have fun with them and watch out for each other!! Spanish Springs was the first town square, built in. 1994. Lake Sumter Landing opened in 2004. Brownwood Paddock Town Square built in 2012! Sawgrass- though not a town square - opened last year and is a fun food and entertainment venue. Eastport- the 4th town square will be opening in the next couple of years !!

I looked at the Villages and the surrounding area. Homes in the Villages are100,000 to 150,000$ higher priced than homes within short distances away from there with very little property. Homes much cheaper with acre lots are minutes outside there. The community centers with shops and entertainment etc are open to non residents of the Villages. Most things at the Villages are still available in surrounding cities. some of the reviews show lots of fees to live there more than other locations. Do your research....

Our friends moved there and loved it until she developed a heart condition and the "friends" they met, didn't want to be around someone with health problems because they were there to party and have fun and she became the buzzkill that reminded them that they weren't in high school but were senior citizens only a step away from serious health issues themselves. After she died, her husband moved back to North Carolina to be near real friends and family.

The Villages is so far inland that usually they will get tropical storm winds that cause minor damages. As far as water and flooding the very low spots like the tunnels will hold some water and the ponds but nothing major.
@markedwards5512 Жыл бұрын
Water management is designed so that the retention ponds, golf courses and nature preserves get the excess water. Neighborhoods will not likely flood. Hurricanes and tornados are a risk, which is why insurance rates are going up.

Any talk of neuralink brain 🧠 computer 💻 interfaces for elderly residents... BCI could be used to control sleep 😴 and pain in the elderly (there are a variety of medical conditions and injuries more likely when elderly)... An elderly person may choose to sleep 😴 every other day, maybe in a rejuvenating hyperbaric chamber, to maximize longevity, improve health and reduce boredom... Such a setup could also reduce monthly costs because a resident with a neuralink would be asleep ~half the time... Neuralink BCI goes for about $10,000 and hyperbaric chamber goes for $5,000... But if you live a healthier lifestyle for twice as long, it is worth with... It would also be easier to maintain a healthy diet (maybe genetically 🧬 tailored) between periods of neuralink induced sleep 😴...
