Exactly. It's disgusting to expect others to work and pay taxes in order to support you. What if we were all so selfish? And surely all these kids will grow up with a sense of entitlement , refuse to work, and strain the system even further.
@moiraeiynck20982 жыл бұрын
It probably wouldn't be AS offensive if he wasn't acting as if it's something that he is entitled to. I found it a bit telling that the mother was just kind of being there....and that's it. She was preparing meals though...and that's quite an accomplishment in and of itself. She's probably exhausted from that alone. They have a nice home and well behaved children though....so they don't burden any agencies that some large families, even small families, tend to do. For instance Child protection Agencies, cops et al. Just sayin....

The man worked for 25 years as a long-distance lorry driver. In most civilized G8 countries, that would qualify him for a full pension. I don't live in Britain, but I am surprised to learn he doesn't qualify for a retirement package after 25 years. Somehow I assumed Britain had evolved beyond that level. I also agree that children come first, so their needs must supersede any nation's attitude toward care for those in need versus required years of service in the workforce.
@pandypop14 жыл бұрын
You only get your pension when you hit retirement age. additional: some people's ignorance is astounding though, people seem to forget that this man worked for many years and paid taxes into a system that is designed to help people in need and when he and his family need it you all bloody complain that you are paying for it!!! He took it upon himself to educate their son which by the way is every parents responsibility to see that a child has an education suitable for the childs needs, age and aptitude, its not the governmnent or the schools responsibility, its the parents, look up the law! His wife has arthritis and his kid is sick, but you'd all rather he was at work while she struggled and their son's needs went unmet, have a good long look at yourselves, would you prefer their ADHD son having to go into care or some sort of facility? or do you think he should be with his family?....
@HelloKittyfouronesix4 жыл бұрын
@Smart Play The US Military after 20 years you get retirement. Not sure it's the same for government workers. But that is the only case that I know of that you can get retirement right after retirement. LOL

@Smart Play in Italy you get a minimum pension after 20 years contributions.
@BridolMandy4 жыл бұрын
Seriously? Not sure what planet you live on. Retirement age was 65 for men 60 for women for years now its raise because so many people live longer. You have to have enough people in work to pay for those on pensions and benefits, pay for the national health service etc. Benefits should be there as a safety net not a way to live to keep churning out kids when those you have got already have needs, and especially when you are asking other people to support them. Fine if you are supporting them yourself but otherwise 2 or 3 is enough!!!!!

If you live on benefits what happens when kids are gone? You don’t own a home or have a pension. Do they still receive benefits?

Im from eastern europe and our contry's gov is one of the most corrupt there is. I wish they would support families more, but this whole living off benefits thing is so strange to me. Maybe don't have children if uiu can't afford them.
