UPDATE: in an attempt to make an iceberg video that was shorter and branded different I have inadvertently click baited some people. Just wanted to say that these entries aren't present in the final game and follows the iceberg which includes a lot of talk of personalized copies. If you are looking for real things from Super Mario 64 this may not be the best video to watch. I find this stuff super interesting even if very fake, but I didn't know so many people were tired of hearing about these personalized copies entry. I've changed the title to be less click baity and am planning on changing the thumbnail (making these edits on my phone lol). Regardless apologies if this was misleading and I'm attempting to fix that now.

My SM64 nightmare was that the console would turn on by itself at night, and I couldn't turn it off (same with the TV). The bowser laugh would play and the black bowser face when you die would come out of the TV screen and get me. Just awful. I used to refuse to sleep in the same room as the cartridge for awhile.

I never had a dream involving Mario 64, BUT I remember being scared of a few things inside the game, like the paintings of bowser and peach (mostly peach) and Big Boo’s Haunt, I can’t remember if I was scared of the endless staircase though. Also, it’s most definitely Lakitu’s brother recording him.

As someone who was introduced to SM64 through the DS I was confused when I entered the mirror room in the castle where Lakitu can be seen in the mirror and I was like "Why the heck is this Lakitu here?" Because I was a dumb little kid. But fr, Lakitu in SM64 isn't given enough appreciate in my opinion.

The Mini-Chill Bullies that would push Mario along the Ice Platform right next to their Boss the Chill Bully, had to defeat 3 of the Mini-Chill Bullies to produce the star from the "Chilling with the Bullies" star. 30 Star Bowser getting harder after taking the first hit was an interesting choice especially when 70 star Bowser took 3 hits to defeat.

A Mario 64 nightmare i had went like this: I was at a carnival when all a sudden, a trap in the floor would let me fall to a secret room. I would then get chased by Bowser through a maze and I'd wake up at the very moment he'd catch me. It kept me up at night for many years I tell you what! The only nightmares I have had were both in the sand land. One was drowning in the pyramid sand pit and the other was getting some very painful CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) from getting squished by the moving blocks. Also recently had a nightmare that the carnival music plays but that had nothing to do with what was happening I was actually getting chased through the infinite bathroom reoccurring dream.

I find it really odd that people also have had nightmares or perceived this game as scary. It indeed spooked me as a kid for some known reasons but I still, until this very day, have fever dreams about Mario 64. The dreams are more like visiting new areas, or extra rooms. Similar to that beta cut content or roomhhacks you showed in the video.

i had a nightmare about sm64 before, it started with mario inside peache's castle in a room with blue walls and rainbows, clouds and stars painted in the walls and a lot of playground toys and colorfull cubes with letters and numbers on the sides, the room has a elevator in the middle that looks like the portal2 elevator but yellow and low poly, i used ground pound on the elevator floor and the floor broke and i fell on a underground slide with cages as obstacles, inside the cages where skeleton goombas, skeleton piranha plants and dead power stars, they looked like normal stars but they did'nt spin or shine, at the end of the slide was a small room with old cardboard cutouts of rainbows bushes flowers etc... And an old bunny suit hanging in the wall and the room was lit up by a single light bulb on the ceiling, there was also a dark hole on the ground that probably leads to a sewer because even tho its too dark to see anything you can still hear flowing water sounds comming from it, there was no exit exept for the hole on the ground, so i openned the main menu and selected the exit level option, i was back in the main part of the castle, the one with some doors and a stair in the middle, but in my dream instead of one staircase there were two staircases with a collorful glass pannel with an image of peach in it, i openned the menu agian and selected the exit game option and right as i did it i heard a loud noise and the glass pannel broke into peaces like something bursted trough it and my game froze and eventualy crashed

2:26 no pet or mario stuff but as a kid id be all cozied up ready for bed feel myself falling asleep and accept it then one night i felt something mentally changing first it just took longer to fall asleep by the "end" (where i finally took control of it all) felt like the bed was shaking from "someone" climbing into it nearly atop of me (no, i was in no danger as a kid and every time i actually "broke free" and looked, there was no one nor any proof of someone crawling on my bed, all the blankets were still spread out n all) ((and rarely it happens, last one was a few weeks ago and actually spooked me since its been s o long and i forgot/started forgetting bout it. thankfully it broke quickly and wasnt much more than an increased heartbeat temporarily)) shit was insane honestly, like in the worst parts i felt my heart absolutely racing as it felt like what would be the embodiment of a every predator, but the feeling of them nearby all conglomerated together just hovering above me (creepiest part of that one was the hot breath that would seep through the pillow. thats what prolly had me half believing it was real for S O long)

I'm a zoomer so my childhood mario 64 nightmare was from the version on the DS. At the start of the game in the little intro sequence, mario, luigi, and wario all jump out of the green pipes that rise out of the ground, I guess I imagined that's how they travelled there. Anyway, my nightmare was I was in the castle's 'main' room? (The one you first enter) and all my family members were there, and my childhood best friend. I stood there and watched as green pipes all popped out of the ground and they jumped into them (even doing the jump animation) and then the pipes disappeared back into the ground. Somehow I 'knew' that they were all leaving me behind to go someplace else, and I woke up crying.

I think the reason so many people had dreams of this game was because it was alot of peoples first 3d game and the bright colors and out of worlness of it. also my dream went like this, i remember it very clearly but it is short. basically i walk into the castle as i see mario walking up the stairs he then turns right and pushes on the wall next to the main upstairs door, i follow and upon entering there is a bunk bed. a rainbow light fills the corner of the room but it is not bright only on the bed. the rest of the room was dimmed 2 suited men stand in the room with mario with shades on. they kind of resembled the piantas from sunshine. they look at me and thats all i remember. always felt very ominous for such a bright game
@SupaCD Жыл бұрын
Which sunshine was out at the time. as I was born 2002{ it had to be around 2005 however as i was 3 or 4 ish} but we had n64 at the time. i was very young so could be the piantas were just in the dream because i correlated the two not sure

was the n64 scenery however. and from my vivid memoric imagery the "paintas" were orange in skin tone with black suits and shades mario looked distressed

Interesting stuff, but the title mentioned things IN Mario 64, not from creepypastas based on it. Kind of a bait and switch there, but still cool stuff. I click on one of those spooky Mario 64 videos when they pop up, but I haven't been actively paying attention to Greenio or anything, so all of this was new to me and rad. Y'know, with the state of Mario 64 modding where it is, I wonder if someone might actually be able to create some sort of... not simply a randomizer, but like a procedurally generative Mario 64 mod. I don't know how feasible that is, but the idea of being able to play a version of Mario 64 that's actually personalized sounds rad. Then people could share stuff they actually saw, y'know?
@realgambadogaming Жыл бұрын
Yeah after reading a few comments with the same point I've decided to rebrand the video to better fit the content within it. Thanks for the feedback, and being respectful about it. I like your idea of a procedurally generated Mario 64, that seems like the best chance for some of these entries to actually be seen by people playing the game, not just made up stuff
