Love how original this effect looks too! Not your typical film transition! Excited to use it, thank you!

Awesome. Even though I don’t really have any plans for sorting like this right now, I can see something similar in the future. Plus, I always learn something… like the way you linked the focal distance. Thanks!! 😀

Yeah some different techniques in this one that can be used in different ways for sure!

This channel is HIGHLY underrated ...you should have atleast 2 million subs...every video on this channel is awesome ...I have a question....The high quality fancy videos we see on vox..how much time do you think does it take them to make those ?
@FlatPackFX2 жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate the support! It could take Vox weeks to months to put together a video. With all the research and planning and filming more likely many months. The animation I would say could be done within a few weeks, depends on how many people are working on it.

I need help around 6:00. I don’t understand what I am doing with the camera tool. Do I just move the camera/fov to the top right corner?
@HisLordDudeness Жыл бұрын
Same, I’m using the camera tool but nothing is happening. Frustrating.

@@FlatPackFX Thank you. I could use your help, i rendered after i was done but on playing it, it was just pitch black. I tried video codec of animation, apple prores 422HQ and 4444 and they gave me the same result. I use an M1 13inch macbook pro btw. Please help

Could be lots of different things going on here. Try using encoder for export. Does it playback fine in timeline before export. Clear cache before ram preview. Make sure you don’t have in and out point set outside of the animation. Trim your comp to make sure it fits the animation. Try playing back rendered file on different player like vlc. Try reimporting the file back into Ae and see if it plays. Make sure video is checked when export otherwise it will just be audio. That might be a good place to start

Thank you for this tutorial! I'm following it right now and having issues with the camera, I've adjusted the aperture and focus distance, turned on the depth of field and turned up the blur level, but at about 7:10 when you turn on the depth of field and everything gets blurry, nothing seems to happen on my end. I've adjusted everything I can think of, any suggestions?

Check the obvious things like are all layers 3D, check that dof is on and that there is a gap between the Polaroid and maps. If that doesn’t work send me screenshots to my email or on IG.

@@FlatPackFX Thank you for your help! I figured it out, apparently, Cinema 4D doesn't support depth of field
@limanliman272 жыл бұрын
@@FlatPackFX I have the same problem, dof is on, all layers are 3D, i wonder what are those gap you were talking about? is it the gaps between the map and it's motion tile?
@FlatPackFX2 жыл бұрын
Yes move the layers back and forth in z space (the blue arrow) to create more separation between the layers.

Hi Flat Pack FX, I posted a comment a few hours ago that seems to have disappeared. Did you perhaps delete it?
