As a third semester nursing student- assessment and nursing care of the eyes has always been my favorite topic! I loved everything about eyes. My first clinical experience was at an outpatient surgical center & it was all eye surgeries. This was actually quite spot on! A few things such as the order we are supposed to perform the cardinal gazes is different, but still very realistic! I enjoyed the video very much.
@OZONEASMR4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! May I ask what order would you typically assess the fields of gaze? Eyes are super complex and fascinating, I can see why you enjoy them! All the best with your studies Lindsey 😁
@lindseyuselton11644 жыл бұрын
OZONE ASMR thank you! I’ll try to explain it as easily as possible though text! So you always begin in the middle & you would go up left (or right, just stay on that side throughout the next two motions before switching sides) diagonally for the superior oblique, back to mid point, then out horizontally for medial rectus, back to mid point, and then downwards diagonally for inferior oblique, back to mid point and then just repeat those steps on the opposite side! I hope that makes sense!

Apparently it's a thing! Although after the video I did some more research and it looks like pupillary distance (distance between each pupil) would be more appropriate for how I was measuring, rather than the pupils themselves. But then again I'm no optometrist!

I kind of got it what was going on. I love eye exams because it somehow relaxes me (so it's my favourite no matter what). I don't know if you wanted to be comedic or not but it made me smile as used the medical words. Somehow it was funny (maybe because I am tired). It was creative, informative and interesting. I felt bad for getting sleepy on this. But I'll be definitely rewatching this more times because if I don't even watch (I listen ASMR for writing and at night for sleep) it just makes me extremely relaxed.

Right now its hard to sleep because its daytime. My windows are blacked out and i tried a sleeping mask (uncomfortable). So keeping the ASMR close by is helping. When I use ASMR at night (like normal sleeping patterns) my tablet hits me in the face mid way through the vid 😂😂 I need a sleep time from about 10 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon until 3 July for my job.
