SAHMs have a very hard job, and if they work from home and you have little ones at home with you, double so. We don't get sick days. Your shifts last until bedtime, and even then, you are the one normally expected to get up with the child during the night. We do all that and never get a paycheck. Lol. I'll shut up now. No need to apologize. You get way more accomplished than I do! You just finished a huge closet reno, you housecleaned your bedroom and decluttered clothes just last week!!! Seriously! Love seeing Malcolm with the cat….my granddaughters cat passed away on Monday, she had a heart attack! I never even considered that a cat might have a heart attack. We’re all so sad to lose her, she was in the family for 11-12 years. When granddaughter first got her she was about the same age as Malcolm. I know her heart is broken. 😢

Morning Jessie.. 100% agree we do take it all on and yes its ok to let go we all need down time!! I was already busy this morning I'm making a dinner for our local fire dept so i had some prepping to do and made 2 homemade chocolate pudding pies so I'm tired already lol... i hope you can get out of jury duty its not fair you are the soul care taker of a toddler!! Your dinner did look delish..Enjoy your day and rest up💜💜

Hi, I’m wondering if you cooked the pudding for your pies…..if you did, then I want to share what I do with the cooked pudding, I turn it into German Chocolate Pie with meringue! All you have to do is about 90 seconds before you’re going to take it off the heat add about 3/4 to 1 cup of flaked coconut, and same amount of pecans, then just go ahead and put it in the oven to brown the meringue. I spent the longest time trying to find a German Chocolate pie like the ones sold in Marie Callender’s Restaurants, and I think I finally got it right! Just make your normal recipe for the pudding including vanilla and butter. Sorry to but in on Jesse’s replies, but maybe she’ll want to try it as well! Happy eating! F y’all don’t like meringue, then just use whipping cream. You could also make this into a slab pie if you’re making it for a crowd. And awesome gesture feeding the firefighters!
