When you play realistic Crusader Kings so hard that the realism reaches out and turns your computer into a war causality in a rough war you declared.

The thing where your realm priest keeps telling you your marriage is "consanguinous" is a base game event you get when their opinion of you is low. I can still remember thinking "eh, it's early enough that I don't have any church holdings to worry about, who cares if this guy hates me?" then finding out just how annoying your priest can be sometimes. If you fail that event you get the "incestuous" trait, since consanguinous is a fancy way of saying you're related. I know this is Crusader Kings and all- but I only want people to think that if it's true, will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?

Or when they make claims on your land after you gave them a whole dutchy. Ungrateful priests tend to vanish...

You should've formed the Kingdom of Cornwall, what a silly goose Also Cara, I just learned of a county called Manipur, have no idea if you've played them before, apparently they ruled from like 33 to 1940, only becoming staying as their original faith till like the 18th century or something then becoming Hindu, Found it cool thought you might wanna play as them, the Ningthouja dynasty.

For the full realistic pain you need More interactive vassals. My custom settings include 50% less levies, 50% less levy contribution from vassals, and 20% levy replenishment level. Also More single battles so you get the pain of being a knight to your liege. 😂

if it ends in "ee", why the heck do you spell it with U!
@mylan4742Сағат бұрын
@@jamaluddinkhalifa8371 well tbh it’s not a perfect translation… it doesn’t really have a direct English equivalent; it’s more of a guttural, emphatic sound than the “ee” in “see”, for example. Though, much like English, the pronunciation is often context-reliant… I mean, how often do you pronounce the English “A” the same as you do a standalone letter as you do in the context of a word? I mean read “A” and then “as”-they sound nothing alike! At least the letters of the Welsh alphabet generally sound the same as standalones as they do within the context of a word! “U” in Welsh, pronounced as an independent letter sounds like it does in “Cymru” but honestly, it also can sound like the English “U” in certain contexts: “Sut” is the Welsh word for “how” and it’s usually pronounced “sit”, but you can also pronounce it “seet”-but again, the “ee” is more guttural and emphatic. Either way, a Welsh speaker will understand what you’re saying with ease. It also depends on regional dialects and accents-I mean good lord South-Wallians sound VERY different to North-Wallians. I’m from North Wales-people generally tend to think I’m English because of my accent, it sounds quite a lot like that imperial “Received Pronunciation” that people so often associate with Britain. I often have trouble understanding South Welsh speakers and it’s literally my first language

@@mylan4742 thank you for the detailed response. what I'm getting from this is that Welsh should not be using the Latin alphabet at all, or at least not unless it's modified so there are a few additional letters.

Kirchenstaat is just Church state untranslated, probably one of the mods. Probably one of the mods?
@kashk423 сағат бұрын
It is. Title take it's language from top liege, so if the pope is german it's Kirchenstaat, if he is italian it's Stato Pontifico, etc.
