Rosie seems like such a sweet, zen kitty! I hope that her issues are resolved soon. I've actually been to Lisbon and Porto- Lisbon is a beautiful city and there is a lot to do! I recommend doing a food tour and taking a day trip to Sintra. The food tour will give you an awesome glimpse into Portugal's food culture and you'll get some interesting history along the way. If you go to Sintra, take a tuktuk (a small motorized vehicle driven by a local) because walking up to the castle and palace is a hike. Food is relatively inexpensive and if you enjoy seafood, you can take advantage of a lot of fresh-caught fish, especially sardines. Aside from that, the food that comes ahead of your order (think appetizers) is not free, lol. If you eat what they bring out, you'll get charged. If you leave it on the table, eventually the waitstaff will take it away. Everything is in close proximity and there are a lot of great clothing shops. Make sure to try the Pasteis de Nata (hope I spelled that right) produced by the monastery- you'll have a ball 🙂

Hi Kait…I pray you had a wonderful birthday 🎂 Unfortunately my birthday was bittersweet…my only child, my daughter Princella passed away at the age of 24 from complications from Sickle Cell Anemia on January 10th. Of course this happens while I’m preparing to take the Virginia Bar at the end of February and during my last semester of law school. I’m so heartbroken 💔…but for her I’m determined to finish strong because she was the one who encouraged me to go to law school at the age of 53❤️. Please please keep me in your prayers and I will keep you in mine🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Have a great 3L Spring Kait😊
