Gal I know that feeling all too well when you have to rest your head down and take that quick midstudy nap just so you can carry on lol. Alot of people glamorize medicine when in reality the struggle be real real alot of the time. Whether its trying to survive and actually retain something from the information overload or just eating eggs for dinner because you have no food or no time for anything else. I love your transparency and I am here for this channel!

Gurrrrl! Lemme tell you. I totally agree with everything you said about how different it is to attend med school in the Caribbean! Lol I grew up in Canada but was born in Antigua so I thought , if I’m gonna go to a Caribbean school why not go back to my roots. Well, it has sure made me realize how much I take for granted living in Canada! I so miss the structure and convenience of living in. No problems with the internet, but if there happens to be, it’s no problem to call the provider, and voila! it’s fixed. No matter where you live, if you got maintenance issues(oven broken) it’s dealt with in a timely manner, etc. etc. etc. Island life is the complete opposite of what I’m used to! Was definitely a wake up call. Lol! P.S. ALL FACTS-NO SHADE! :)

Hey!! Thanks for watching! I’m actually home in the Bahamas right now! This video was filmed when I was on my path/MicroB rotation in Jamaica. The only 4th year rotation that Bahamians do in Jamaica is the path/MicroB rotation then we go home. So I left shortly after this video lol. Some people opt to stay once they get permission from the ministry of education
