One of my favorite things about homeschool is that it is flexible and life is the classroom. My son is in the 7th grade and we are pretty laxed. We do book work but most days he gets taught how to cook, clean, code, he wants to do KZbin. I fully resonated with your video cause goodness cause motherhood is HOOD sometimes. I love gardening. Can’t wait to get it going again. You’re doing a great job mama!! Keep going!!

Hey! Thank you for being transparent. My girls also learn life skills away from book learning so I definitely understand. My girls love learning so that helps so much when it comes to teaching, I just know this mama has been slacking a little lol. Thank you for the words of encouragement 😊. What do you like planting?

@@HourPointOfView not a problem! Tomatoes are my favorite thing to grow cause they are FORGIVING! But I also enjoy peppers, butternut squash, and cantaloupe! This upcoming season I want to get my grapevine in (hopefully) and I'm hoping the trees produce fruit....we shall see! LOL

Thank you for being so honest. This is what I needed. My take on what you said towards the end of your video is that you are trying to level up, whilst being a SAHM and moving towards independent of the 9-5 system by having your own business so you and your family can have more time together: What I would say to you is don’t be so hard on yourself. Your children have everything they need plus more. Yes you maybe putting more work into your business at the moment but your children have what they need; a parent, mum, at home that they have a great bond with and someone who loves them more than anything. This is what they will remember as you are creating a secure attachment style within them. Mum was always there when they needed you the most. I too am struggling with something similar but The Holy Spirit is always reminding me of how important it is for children to spend time playing and being by them self. Yes, they do need your attention but it honestly doesn’t need to be all the time. Society at the moment have parents believing their children should always be on the go, always doing activities; a parent should always be giving their children full attention but can I ask you this; when will they find time to figure out who they are if they are always on the go? Always distracted. How will they ever find God if they never stop to hear his voice? - Lamentations 3:27-28 My only advice would be to intrigue their minds with questions which leads to answers; that leads to more questions that helps them to find out who they are and what they like and why they like what they like. This is a part of self love and if you can help your girls to start young, they won’t depart from their ways when they are old. - Proverbs 22:6 But I say all of this to say, thank you for being honest because parenting is hard. It’s the most important job on this earth and the hardest one too. You are doing amazing! Also I pray you keep going because I can see you deserve the level you want to achieve.

You’re not alone mama ❤ I’m a stay at home mom too and content creator and what I find helpful is resting on Sunday! Exodus 20:9-10 ❤️ Also, have you ever considered hiring a nanny to come in twice a week and you could use those 2 days to work. I remember feeling overwhelmed because I felt like I was doing everything by myself but someone told me that it’s ok to ask for help. ❤️ I love your channel and am always inspired by your content.
@HourPointOfView11 ай бұрын
Thanks for the wisdom. Having rest days is so helpful. I haven’t thought about a nanny but that’s definitely something to consider. At this point I’m just ready for hubby to be home so I’m going to continue praying on it and waiting on God. I appreciate the support, it means so much to us. ♥️

I am not a stay at home mom, but I understand the struggle of balancing it all. When I have my list done at work, then I feel like my house is a wreck. When my house is spotless, I feel like I neglected my girls all day. We have to speak louder than that inner voice. YOU ARE ENOUGH. I am a teacher, and I have learned that it doesn't matter how much stuff gets checked off my to-do list. There is always more to do. I have to accept that I can only get to what I can. In the end, all the important things get done.

I’m a SAHM and I have a little part time job at our church to help out some since we’re trying to buy a home. My husband is a police officer and I completely understand what you’re saying. You are definitely not alone. What you were saying makes me think of the story of Elijah in 1st kings when the Lord told him to take a nap and to eat and he wasn’t alone in his struggle. He never said what you’re going through doesn’t matter but that the Lord has him in His hands and to rest. I feel like we will always feel like we’re out of time but I’m praying for you and praying you can find either the help or some way to balance to be able to be the mom God created you to be and achieve the goal of it being the steady income 💛

So I’m super excited that I’m not the only sahm working mommy with a homeschooled child. I am trying for another baby EOY. Watching this gave me so much excitement!!!!!

Hey! Unfortunately in 2024, we have to be their teachers. It’s only the way we can protect them from things they shouldn’t be learning as kids. I’m glad you’ve decided to take on these roles. It’s challenging but so worth it! Our kids will love us even more for putting them first ❤️. I can’t wait to hear from you as you binge the other vlogs 😊

One of my favorite scriptures for motherhood and the busy side of this season of youngins and starting a business or working from home is Hebrews 12:11. But yes! It’s so hard to give yourself grace. I always feel like I’m lacking but then I get my kids around other kids their age and I’m like LOL I can take a break. 😂 you are doing wonderful
@HourPointOfView10 ай бұрын
Hey sis!! Thank you for this scripture! I’m definitely going to reference this when I feel overwhelmed. I definitely feel you on getting around other kids 😂. I don’t like to compare but sometimes things are just obvious 🤷🏾♀️. Thanks again for uplifting me ♥️. How’s your year going so far?

@@HourPointOfView it seems like this year has started off on the wrong foot but by the Lord’s grace and faithfulness, I’m renewed every day. Trying to brush off everyone’s negative energy, including my own 🫢🤣 it’s a bit stormy for us all I see, but we gotta keep our heads up and out on that armor! Remember it’s all a season and The Most High will bring us out of it!! 🫶🏽

I think this is the struggle so many of us face. Finding our flow and trying to balance it all. As a fellow Stay at home Mom/Wife who runs multiple Businesses plus….it’s A LOT! My suggestion is to delegate certain task (house cleaning, baby sitter, part time School, etc.) it’s OK to ask for help. It takes a village to be able to get it all done and have it all. But yea, the struggle is SO real!

Thank you for sharing and being open. I have watched you for awhile and you have done a great job doing both, but I know it’s exhausting. You are not alone, I feel called to share my story online as a Contant creator, but I always worry about the balance of social media and my kids as well. To be honest it’s the reason I haven’t started really posting because I’m so nervous I won’t be able to handle it. It’s a true worry, and I pray that the Lord is your mind and give you direction and wisdom on how to handle it.
