This division realistically has 4 rosters that you can make playoff arguments with. I think 2 of the teams have SB ceilings (GB/Det). Ultimately it will come down to who wins the attrition battle. On average every division loses a QB to a lengthy injury, who will that team be? Also how quickly will Caleb get up to speed and will it be early enough to get to that 9/10 win area. Also can JJ get on the field and make a difference or will Darnold play good enough to win games.

What's crazy is that the Carolina Panthers could've realistically had this Bears roster (at least on offense). Speaking of the Carolina Panthers, last year their rookie was expected to have a great coaching setup. Yet, that rapidly fell apart. So, we have to be careful with the Bears' current setup (ironically). Ironically Mike Ditka.

The Bears will go nowhere because the defense is an afterthought for Poles. He took a punter ahead of a defensive player. I predict a 7 win season and most losses coming in the 4th qtr with blown leads. The defense is tired and old, and it will not show up in the 4th quarter. I'm 50 years old and have seen this playout many times before all over the league. Good luck . I hope for the best, but expect little. Bears have arguably the best secondary in the nfl, strong linebackers and a pro-bowl edge. Their only weakness is dl depth but if gervon ascends it could be a top-5 unit, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Also, they drafted a 4th rd edge talent in the 5th rd
