Absolutely gorgeous! What do you do if you have a reference only has the brightest highlight, but not the reflection? I just started doing pet portraits and I'm struggling with poor references. 😮‍💨 I'm painting them, but a lot of the principles are the same. I've done portraits in pastels and I feel like it's easier for me.

If working from a poor reference image I tend to just do a pop of white highlight but not any reflection as it can be hard to make up from your imagination!
