realistic life as a community college student

After taking a gap semester last fall, I finally came back to school, realizing that it was actually enjoyable. This semester, I had to balance out 20 units, UC applications, badminton tournaments, and more. Find out how I did it! Hope you guys enjoy :)

i know you weren't asking me, but i am currently about to graduate community college! here are my reasons for choosing cc (and why i think it's worth it to go!): 1. it's muuuuch more affordable. i knew i wouldn't have to stress out about money and could always transfer to a 4 year university afterwards to get the "traditional" experience 2. the class sizes are pretty small, so you get to know your professors and fellow classmates pretty well! i feel like this aspect of connection is something you lose at bigger universities. 3. i didn't feel quite ready to leave home and can still live with my parents. like she mentioned in the video, still living at home makes the transition to college much easier.

Wow! 20 units is inspiring, would you be willing to elaborate what classes you were taking? At my school if we want to take more than 18 units we need to apply for a credit extension ahaha

Our max was 20 units but I took English, Social Psychology, Cinema, Physics, Biology, and Ethics.
