It's very easy. In the folder for the LightingFX in the editor, instead of hidden the ending, you have to install a slider with the ending "from 0 to 2, perc" and save! Or edeting direct in the Editor with the correct Settings

But you can change the other Settings, what do you want. And Save the Folder!

It's done in the lighting FX settings now in Content Manager, can't find the distance setting anywhere though.

The settings are not present in latest CSP, making this video a bit obsolete. I had an annoying washed out headlights lighting, so I lowered "brightness" to 15%, but I can't see an actual beam anymore. I guess those settings are somewhere else now.

@@polishtraveler found a solution for the new versions, if you have Pure installed then head in Pure --> Lights --> Emmisive bounce or something like that and turn it up. it will make every lights source brighter tho, not only your headlights, but I think it is good enough :)

Follow the CM tutorial. There's not much to it for rain honestly. You subscribe to patreon for CSP preview, drag and drop it in Content Manager, and then enable Rain FX (you also need SOL obviously).

Well there's your issue. As you can see in the video, you need to buy CSP preview separately from his Patreon page. Those already there in Content Manager are normal, non-preview versions. You need to get it from the Patreon page as I do in the video.

You can increase tire squeal (which is annoying and unrealistic IMO), but as far as I'm aware wind noise isn't possible unless you find some mod. Regardless, it would get annoying quick I reckon, especially if you drive for an extended period of time.

sorry, but you call it realistic? conventional headlights do not illuminate the entire road ahead from all sides when the car is driving sideways

The thing is, different mods have different headlight wideness, so you can always turn down headlight wideness in CM, but then it'll be too narrow for some cars. My friend's BMW X7 has amazing lights, they literally illuminate the sides, so I'd say it's realistic but sometimes, depending in the mod, it can be a bit too much. You can always turn it down tho :)

Yes. So, you need Pure for that, but if you have it, open up Pure Config in-game, go to Light->CSP Lights, and then adjust the csp_lights.displays.

Set stability control to 100%. Slowly turn it down when you get more experience.

@@gijslaumen1354 Actually good tip! I agree but it's better to start at like 30% or less since anything above that will restrict you way too much and will hinder you. Honestly most people just need a small help to catch that initial break of traction, after that I find they can recover much better once in drift.

That's because of the mod itself, the way it was designed. I think it's the S15 from the ACDFR drift pack. Most other car mods don't have that.

What mod are you using it to test? Sometimes the mod is just too dim. Try another mod, I show how to adjust everything here to your liking. There's literally nothing more you can do :)

How to adjust beam Height of the headlights? In reality, the light spreads almost 180 degrees down, up, right and left, and there is almost no shape of the light beam when u turn on high beam headlights.

That depends on the mod, you can't control that unfortunately. You can turn down the light distance, but that's it. Try a different mod.

this might irrelevant but I got a bug/glitch where the moon shines a glare really bright at night and in the morning around 5.30 and it moves by itself to the sunrise posisiton at 5.35-5.36 (it happened at le mans circuit 2017) anyone can help me to find the cause and the solution to fix it? That's how Pure works if you have it, you just need to set the transition for longer.

That's usually down to each mod, try using a different mod, perhaps a default Kunos car.

Hello man, your video is very nice, but I have a problem. When I enter the tunnel, everything turns yellow and too many fps drops. How can I change the light color in the tunnel? A youtuber I watched made purple the color of the light inside the tunnel.

You can change filters to apply different shades on top of the view, but you can't change the lights of the model without modifying it. You can use the Pure config if you have Pure to change hue of different lights, but it'll change the whole map for instance, so play around with it.

All cars default to high beam when you first load up unfortunately. I think that's the default way. You have to turn high beams off when you set off.

That's usually down to the mod. Most of the time either the mod is horrid quality or hasn't been updated in a long time so it doesn't work with newer CSP. If it only happens with a few mods, it's down to the mods.

This is exactly what I needed a lot of the cars have very dim lights make it unusable for night touge driving. I have revert the weather config back to sol (I also have pure installed). The changes I made from sol config on track still doesn't register at all. Any idea why? Thanks!

No need to use Sol, you can use Pure with this (as I do). The SOL config is separate from the weather config. Try using a different mod, sometimes some mods will bug out or the models themselves are weird.
