Hi! I’m not Bailey, but I have 4 dogs atm. We’ve had our stove catch on fire and what I did was let them out into the yard (which is fenced in) and by then the fire was out so I just kept them out their until the smoke was gone. If the fire was worse we have a plan, after everyone was out we would move them all into our car! Currently we don’t have a plan for anything else but I hope this helps with the fires!☺️

I do. I have dog bowls, cat bowls, water bowls, litter box, first aid supplies - essentially everything but the food and water - along with an extra large wire crate in my car at all times. I live in the Sierra foothills. Fires are a real threat. During fire season (late May through October), I keep go bags packed and ready. So if we get evacuated, I load our bags, the animals and we're gone.

Dogs give unconditional, unrestricted love. Dogs don't care if their owners are bad people, rich or poor, or if the house is a mansion or an apartment. Dogs are always happy to see you home, and you too will be comforted and cheered up by knowing that every time you come home they will be at the door to welcome you.🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

I have raised Rotts, German Sheps and Labs for years (and a steady stream of mix breed rescues). With all my dogs, only 1 lab ever slept on a dog bed. And my senior black shepherd would sleep on a dog bed if I told her to. But she was doing it for me. She far preferred the floor. Dogs are not people. Lots of them, especially large breeds aren't interested in dog beds. Of course, they all slept on my bed though.

My 4 month old labradoodle does not like beds either. I purchased the cutest pink fluffy beds for her and my year old Maltese. My Maltese loves the bed but my labradoodle will do the same thing as Harlow and push the bed over and lay on the floor. She doesn’t like the tray either (I guess it’s not cold enough) so she pushed the tray out to lay on the hardwood floor.

Bailey, I just got a 9 weeks old Aussie doodle puppy and I would love your intake on the nipping.. I have three kids ages 6,5,3 so it important for me to have that under control. Maybe you could do a video on how you curve the bitting/jumping? Thanks!! Love your videos
@erica94872 жыл бұрын
Giving some advice from my puppies trainer :) For jumping up, don't give any attention while they're jumping, once they are sitting/not jumping you can pet, give them their treat etc. For nipping, let out a high pitched yelp so they know that hurts - this will help with bite inhibition. You can also walk away immediately after they nip for a few minutes (if they're on their leash attached to something in the house). Bully sticks, nylabone and even frozen towels are also nice to help them while they're going through their teething stage - you can redirect them from chewing on your hand with a chew.
@Haven6332 жыл бұрын
With nipping you need to be strict about redirecting! Sometimes we get lax because they arent biting too hard this time, but next time they do and we yell out and punish! This confuses them! Instead anytime they start nawing on something you dont want them to you need to redirect that behavoir to something they can naw on. Jumping you just cant allow it, they do it because they can gain your attention from it. Dogs dont understand bad vs good attention, they just know they have it. So ignore and walk away until they calm down. You could also try to teach “place” so they dont jump out of excitement when you or family is entering the house.
@thepraterfam58952 жыл бұрын
@@erica9487 The whole yelling out ouch thing might work for some dogs but it definitely doesn’t work for mine in fact it makes her even more hyper to the point where I have to end up putting her in the cage to get her to calm down…. My dog likes to lunge at mine and my kids faces as well.
@kristingeiger56022 жыл бұрын
We just got an 8 week Aussiedoodle and he is nipping a lot as well 😩 we redirect as much as we can but I’m really hoping he grows out of it. I heard Aussies can be hard to break of it.
