I didn't make the mod and I don't know how to make mods (yet). However I believe the left over matter is actually used on making more nanites, however I have to set a limit to how many nanites there can be because of how laggy this game is, I'm already reaching 10fps somethings when nanites are destroying stuff lol.

Yes, technically nanites use the "eaten" material to make more nanites, unfortunately I had to put a limit on total nanites because of the lag, this video would have taken days to make lol, I believe I had a limit of like 1500 nanites or something

They do actually multiply but I have a limit of 500 nanites because it already is so laggy (this video took 3-4 hours to record). Teardown has a screen recorder that makes the final video smooth, I'm actually lagging like hell. If I had no limit on nanites I'd be sitting here for 20+ hours probably to make a video lmao. Sometimes I bring the limit up to 1000 but anymore is too much.

One nanite + three reproductions at 15 voxels of destruction each would be very satisfying to watch imo. A slow deliberate deconstruction is far more visually stimulating that a spree of mass dissolving. AOEs, reproduction patterns, perhaps a way to change the color of the nanites as they dissolve or move through materials?? Its all very inspiring.
