Play a game of PES then watch a football match on TV. PES recreates the actual game so well it's incredible. Easily the most satisfying sports game I've ever played. I've barely spent any time playing FIFA this year.

Look that gameplay, PES is for the real gamers who loves football. Fifa = licenses. Nothing more or less, the experience of game on PES is excellent, the difficulty of scoring is superior, the movements are realistic, the physics of the ball just on point and the goalkeepers have less mistakes of programmation than in FIFA.

WHATS IN NAME? Right now, november 2017... its the most realistic football game (ball physic and football tactics and dynamics). Fifa has more licenses, modes and stadiums, but clearly the gameplay is more arcade... its not a bad thing, I play fifa too, and some things are better in Fifa like some animations, etc but the dynamic of gameplay is different... and UT online is a bad joke, the opposite of football.

I'd say PES performs better as a simulator, whereas FIFA has more functionality to it. It depends on what style you prefer. I've started playing PES 18 recently and I enjoy it more than FIFA (it feels more natural, like a real football game), despite some minor issues and bad commentary.

I see ppl bitching in the comments thay it's not realistic. It's not perfect but looks pretty cool. You won't see animations that good and a gameplay that similar to real life football even in Fifa 25, cause Fifa is designed to be played online. But if you wanna have fun playing some offline career mode and you switch to broadcast camera it is 5x worse than in PES. And I say it as a Fifa player.
