Yo ho yo ho, a pirate's life for me! In this video I'm going to show you how to do realistic looking pirate makeup. It's not going to make you look glamorous or sexy, but it's going to make you look sunburnt and unkempt and that's what a pirate should be, if you ask me :) Enjoy!

If you press broken powder shadow back into a container and add some rubbing alcohol to make it stick the alcohol will evaporate as it dries and leave you with a restored powder brick!! It won't be pretty but you can salvage it completely and not have to use that baggie haha!

Pirates have not used eyeliner / kohl (it is Depp's idea for the movie) therefore it is not a realistic look.

Not necessarily. Kohl has been used to protect the eyes by peoples in hot, sunny places like North Africa, the Middle East and India for centuries. Pirates very well could have used it too 😁 (How many sources do we have of what they really looked like, anyway...)
