You should consider using baby oil or a mineral solvent to blend the colours yielding a more painterly effect, a much better blend and it hides all the white spots on the paper underneath.

Which brands colour are you using because I use titi pastels and in that there are no such colors like grey rose, yellow orchre and etc.

The color of the small bowl is very dark so light reflection should be low there. If the color of the bowl was light and shiny then light reflection should be high..

did you use chalk or oil pastels, because you blended it way too easily. oil pastels dont blend like that!!
