Having my own art studio is still my dream although I'm in my 50's. I've sold before on eBay and loved the feeling of making people happy with my designs. For my Canon > Mac setup I found that plugging in via USB is the best option. When I would AirPrint some options went away? Like you mentioned Luster/Full bleed etc are needed, and I only have those options when I use the USB connection. I've done that for years with no issues, but I don't use the canon print thingy. I use open the file (which opens in Preview) then print from there! Hope that helps, but also having a computer just for printing might be a good solution too!

Thank you so much! ☺️ I have hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome with dysautonomia so my problems are mostly invisible 🙈 Mostly it’s chronic pain, low blood pressure episodes, fatigue and a lot of digestive issues 💕 Some days are better than others but mostly I’ve just gotten used to working through it 😅

Yes! But I have over 200 different designs so it ends up being easier in the end to make as needed but I’ve definitely thought about it! 🩷

I have a MacBook too and for documents my printing looks good but if I want to print on vinyl with images, the color looks terrible. I was on the phone with Canon this week myself and I got the same AirPrint answer. I was soooo frustrated!! As always, I love your videos and truly look forward to Wednesdays to watch them!!

Omg I’m so happy to hear I wasn’t alone! I was soooo upset with the color printing quality of air print, I cried if I’m being honest lol. But I’ve got my new system down now with using my windows for printing and working in the studio and the Mac for my video editing and large design files 💕

How do you decide when to retire a design? Did you decide if youre going to add the Toby studio bookmark (with the rainbow rug) to your store? Love your video as usual!

So I usually decide to retire a design once it’s been a period of time where it doesn’t sell much or if I decide I want to update it…like for example I’m thinking of retiring my fall bookmark set I created a few years ago and replacing it with a new updated set this year. So the reasons vary a bit! ☺️ and yes that will be added! It’s on my to do list, once things quiet down after packing the sub boxes I’ll be adding it! 💕
