“Cleaning is not about waiting for it to be dirty, it’s about prevention” words of wisdom there, lady!!! Everyone has their own way of doing things and we all have our quirks. Mine include not using a dishwasher at all because I simply don’t trust those machines to do the job right. I also wash my dish towels in a load all on their own with no other laundry because I don’t fully trust the washer either. 🤣 I am sorry folks get testy about stuff, but glad to hear you can shrug it off. At the end of the day nobody else is cleaning your home or living your life so your opinion is the only one that counts and that goes for all of us! Content creators really put themselves out there and I hope the positive comments far out number the negative ones. You definitely are teaching me new stuff and I am grateful for you and what you share!! I enjoyed the longer format. It feels like we are hanging out and helping each other clean house. I seriously do learn something new in EVERY video of yours that I watch. It’s all these little things that are making a big difference in the appearance of my home. The dry dusting prior to using the glass cleaner was another game changer for me as was the mopping with the grain. Cleaning my own house is relaxing and comforting to me. I know you said you’re a house keeper and not a counselor, but the stuff I’m learning from you is like therapy. It makes me feel so good to use my new found knowledge when cleaning my home! I’m going to start calling your videos my therapy sessions! 😄 The music in this “session”was nice and chill and I appreciated that aspect of the video too! The sparkle and shine of your home was so rewarding to see, I’m glad the camera caught it so well!! It’s another personal preference thing, but on the onions and garlic I wanted to share that I do not refrigerate mine. I have a large bowl on the counter that I keep them in. They stay good for multiple weeks stored that way and the bowl keeps all those little peels contained. So long as none are going bad, gnats are not an issue. Not sure if you’ve ever tried keeping them out but thought I’d suggest it. 🙂 You words at the end about letting things go are more pearls of wisdom. Our homes feel better when clean and our minds and souls do too!! Stuff you can’t change is just brain clutter. Heyyy Lea🤗 this was so awesome to read and I truly don’t know what to say. All I could do while reading was smile. I love the idea of my videos being therapeutic for y’all as there are others saying the same. The comments are just all that. I truly have the best cleaning family over here and it’s so rewarding. I’m always thinking of ways to bring y’all enjoyable content because you deserve it. Onions- so I have tried keeping my onions out and they go bad and I think it’s because I don’t use them fast enough because I don’t cook a whole lot anymore. So putting them in the refrigerator helps me to keep them longer… otherwise the bowl on the counter would be ideal. Maybe I could still use a bowl in the refrigerator, still catching the peels. I love that you’re finding the tips here helpful. I would never stir y’all wrong and if I ever do, I will come back and correct it… but I’m sure I won’t😁 I hope that your week is starting out peaceful. Oh and I’m with you, I don’t have a lot of trust for these machines either😂

Stephaine Girl, You did your thing on this video. I really enjoyed you not speeding up the video and showing exactly what needs to be done to keep a clean home. I have realized that I’m not as clean as I thought I was. For me also, a clean home is mental for me. I work from home. My house has to be clean and organized before I start work. So, I can focus on work but here’s the thing. My husband and I are remodeling right now. It’s stuff EVERYWHERE. Boxes with new stuff that needs to be put together. I’m not the handy person but if I was this house would be together ASAP. I’m trying my best to be patient and to worry about what I can control. I know once we are finished the remodel our house will be beautiful and I will enjoy cleaning and put everything back in it proper place. I look forward to that day until then I will live vicarious through you. Refrigerator- Yes, cleaning a frig is pain. My family already know if you thaw you meat put a pan under the meat. If you have something unopened or or will come open out in a container or ziplock. If NOT you will be cleaning the frig. Journaling- I never thought I would find interest writing my thoughts down. I’m a wife and a mom. I find that journaling is self care for myself. I’m happy to hear that you are also journaling. If you are a Apple user they now have an app for Journaling. I haven’t personally use it yet but I will if I want to get my thoughts out and don’t have my journal. Family cleaning- I’m glad you addressed you are a housekeeper and can’t answer certain questions. Great tactful response. Personally, I started teaching my daughter young. She is 8 years old and family is so impressed how independent she is with herself and cleaning. That’s because I took the time to teacher her and set the expectations at a young age. Family and her teachers are impressed because she always ask if they need help if she is around. Every household is different, so I get it. Mop- So I used to have a swifter and so felt like I was mopping the floor with a baby wipe. So, I switched to a mop and bucket, then went to a steam mop, then O-cedar mop. I’m going to have try the mop in the video because if you are using it to clean. I know it works. I like how you explained the mopping technique. Again, I enjoyed the video and will watched again.

I really enjoy your calm, peaceful content. Everyone has different styles, but we can always pick up really good ideas and tips from each other. As far as wasting water, I don’t want to intentionally waste water. However, when you clean you will use water…. I for one always run a fair amount of water for my laundry but I know if I don’t do that it doesn’t get the detergent out and the dirt out adequately and without enough water, your clothes rubs up against each other and deteriorates clothing before it needs to be. Something I see is someone starting with a clean cloth and just smear what’s underneath instead of turning their cloth over, and rinsing adequately when needed. My mom taught me that when I was little and showed me what the surface looked like when you just go around in circles and smear what’s underneath as opposed to “cleaning” it. We were very poor when I was being raised as a child, so my mother was very conscious of not wasting things, but she knew how to clean and how to preserve what you have, whether it’s a little or a lot. She knew a good product when she saw it so even though we had a very modest income, she still purchased Dawn when it came on the market because it was a good product and she always used Tide and Clorox bleach, She used to bleach sparingly, but it was a good bleach. Love the content and really appreciate you keeping up the good work😃🌺

Dec 31 2023 around 10pm I stumbled upon your channel and fell asleep bring in the new year with something new without even knowing! I know God has brought me to view your beautiful channel. On January 1 2024 I found myself deep cleaning my fridge and I also started bible study. I have now ventured onto the bathroom this is a working progress with fixing shower leak too and felt I needed to start in the bathroom if I wanted to be clean 😊mind you girl I been living in a mess of so much and the past year working though an illness that has disrupted my life to almost inability to move. Hey Stephanie ! I love your videos. I am by no means a professional housekeeper but you take care of homes the way my Mommaw taught me to clean. I work full time and finding someone to clean the way you do is nearly impossible. It upsets me to come home and see the lady's footprints on my floor where she walked on my wet floor. I am also in total agreement with you that you have to stay on top of cleaning things in your home to keep them from getting out of hand. I love the way you teach as you go and give us the benefit of your years of working in the industry, I think there are people who want to take pride in their homes and keep a clean house but no one has ever showed them the ins and outs of how that is done. I was very fortunate to have a grandmother that took the time to do that but not everyone has that. That is why I am so thankful for your videos because you not only share what you do but the why behind why you do the things you do. You are such a blessing to us homemakers who take pride in our homes and I am so thankful for all you share. I do have one question. I have trouble trying to keep mirrors and windows from streaking when I clean them, I use the same product you use but I would like to know what kind of rag you use to clean mirrors and windows? thanks

I'm like you I don't like cleaning my refrigerator I like to clean my stove more than cleanng the fridge but I do clean my fridge once a week, well at least I try too. I love how you teach more about your cleaning and I like you talk about cleaning zone. When you talk about leaving the sink water running I don’t really care about it. You can leave the water running all you want but I you going to eventually turn it off. You are definitely a cleaning pro when you talk about the cloths you use to clean dust and glass. Yes refrigerators are a pain to clean! I bought some acrylic containers for the fridge and it has helped a lot so the crumbs don't so much get stuck in the crevices. Thanks for the motivation Stephanie! Plan on deep cleaning the fridge tomorrow before buying groceries. Really enjoyed the classical music 🎶 it was beautiful. You are a beautiful soul.

I've had to teach my adult self how to clean. Growing up our house was a bit cluttered but generally picked up, the dishes washed and laundry done, but my mom almost took pride in saying that she "didnt clean". I do find cleaning therapeutic and I'm still learning new ways and how I should do things. Thanks for your content. I really enjoy it. it's very relaxing and educational. Oh ok. I personally give away anything I don’t need and that includes decor. As far as clothing that just piled up and I keep moving it around for a “just in case” moment and I haven’t worn it for a year… I get rid of it. Hey beautiful Queen, I definitely agree with Zone cleaning. I also agree that food should be rinsed before putting in dishwasher also people forget there is a filter that food can clog it! Also, sis, are you living your washer and dryer? I am between the GE and an LG . I definitely enjoy your cleaning videos. The fridge is probably my least favorite to clean. I also find goodies that are a different color when I find them, lol. I definitely zone out when I clean. You can tell by the wonderful faces I make because I forget the camera is on 😂. Queen I am glad you mentioned preventative cleaning. The thought of people asking why we clean a clean house bothers me. I am like you clean to keep it clean not always because it's dirty. Also one last thing in regards to running the water in your sink whether it's OK or not. It's OK on your tab and mortgage! I run my water on my tab a mortgage so you need not even explain that chile😂 you are so right. I don't hear it either I will be in a whole other room talking about what'd that noise🤣🤣

First of all… you are too funny 😂 when you mention the faces that you make because you forget the camera is on, I hollered!!! BECAUSE THATS ME ALL DAY! I try so hard to remember my facial expressions when I’m recording but it’s hard LOL! I do love this GE set. So far there hasn’t been any issues. I love the extra hot water option, I love that I can remove the dispenser Trey to thoroughly clean it under running water, I love that there’s a option to run the machine to drain out all of the excess water to prevent mold and smells. I run it over night because it goes for eight hours… so yeah, so far so good. Now, I was trying to be as polite as I could in the video (because I know me) when I was talking about the running water, but trust me sis… they definitely got it in the comments. Because it’s stuff like that that just annoys me. Like people just need to get a life. Imagine worrying about a another grown woman’s bill that you don’t have to pay🙄 Now the LG is super nice as well too. I use to clean for a guy that had one and laundry was a big part of his service, so I’ve had experience with that brand as well. They are a bit more expensive than GE, but very nice.

But Chile these things are so dang expensive so hopefully in a few months I will try for them! Folk Will tell you with the quickness what to do.
