Early Fall Fishing With a Texas Rig - Update for One Lucky Fisherman!!

Today I am doing some early fall fishing with a Texas Rig. I am using a Baby Brush Hog creature bait. I am using 12 lb test mono, on a $30 Ozark Trail baitcaster. This short trip only resulted in one fish. The largemouth bass was somewhere between 1/2 lb and 3/4 pounds. While not the biggest fish in the lake, it was fun for a short trip to the Public Park at the lake. After this we go to the studio to pick one lucky fisherman for the random lure package that was previously unclaimed. Good luck to you in your early fall fishing adventures. #realistic #fishing

1 fish is more than no fish. I enjoy the fact that you appreciate what you catch whether it's a 5 inch blue gill or a 4 lb bass. As long as you get something and have fun then that's what matters. At the end of the day fishing is supposed to be about having fun and enjoying whatever comes your way. And congrats to the winner as well.

Congratulations, Eric! I'm still 0 for (lost count) on the brush hog.. I caught a small bass a nice 1.5-2lb bass yesterday on a Texas rigged Yum Dinger. Though I wasn't recording, i managed to get a couple of pictures! Yesterday's bass color of choice was Carolina Pumpkin with a Chartreuse tail. I've never used that color before and now I'm glad I did! KIR Alex!

Howdy Alex, thank you for the video! I pulled a Sylvester Stallone and TRIED to go "over the top" of a tree. Ended up tying 3 ratchet straps together and wrangled the stuff back to me. I was still fishing I guess. Stay bent and Keep it Realistic

Cash beat free lures. It helps you to figure out what others are using and hopefully having success on. I sometimes leave lures I don't have have success on at the parks but never randomly in the grass, I do feel bad because it's basically littering but I never come across others to give them to.
