None of the distribution companies will pay you. There is no bank guarantee, penalty for late/ no payment. Ask NTPC/ NHPC officials, power ministry officials, cabinet secretary. This has been the situation since late 1960s. Ask any supplier/ contractor of distribution companies what they have to do to get their bills cleared/ paid. Even Supreme Court will not intervene distribution company disputes. It is you versus the Government of India with its army. Only Ambani, Adani can guide you how as to how to commercially deal with a distribution company and succeed.
