My issue with some of the pastors in this world is around the cessation of the baptism by the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts and that those miracles don't exist today. Someone like Voddie Baucham is one such. I probably am misunderstanding him, but if it's true, what does he think Jesus came to do when he was here on earth? Thanks for this great discussion. Re: Bible versions … KJV is incredibly intimidating and the language used can easily deter someone from reading the word. Starting with a easy-to-read Bible has encouraged me to read the word and get closer to God.

The doctrine of God’s immutability is of the highest significance for religion. The contrast between being and becoming marks the difference between the Creator and the creature. Every creature is continually becoming. It is changeable, constantly striving, seeks rest and satisfaction, and finds this rest in God, in Him alone, for only He is pure being and not becoming. Hence, in Scripture God is often called the Rock.

We are to believe and follow Christ in all things, including His words about Scripture. And this means that Scripture is to be for us what it was to Him: the unique, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God, and not merely a human testimony to Christ, however carefully guided and preserved by God. If the Bible is less than this to us, we are not fully Christ’s disciples.

people need to work. If a person has dedicated their life to the church , how will they eat.. If that is their primary job, I don't see why not. Even the priests in the bible were taken care of by the church. The thing is people , especially pastors want to paid every time they preach. That is just abusing the system.

If we who claim to be believers of the Lord Jesus were to stick to 100% scripture we would speak the same thing. Even label ourselves according to scripture and they would be no denominations, you see I respect Ricky in a lot things he speaks because it's according to scripture but he too very much deviates in some of the things. Let's humble ourselves and truly 100% stick to scripture and they would be no divisions at all.

In the realm of understanding, when we speak of a "person," we are delving into the essence of one endowed with a distinct identity, possessing individuality as a rational being. Such a being is not only self-aware but also consciously attuned to their own existence. These are not traits or characteristics of the Holy Spirit of God. Secondly, the scripture he partly quote in Ephesians 4 was wrongly attributed to that the Holy Spirit is a person. Reading the entire chapter will shed direct light on the context and make the interpretation easy. In a more general sense this is an exhortation to abstain from anything and everything sin that grieves the Holy Spirit who is God. And God is not a person.

the bible is very clear, and the Holy spirit is distinct. The bible Says God is spirit. So what you are saying is he has a spirit in a spirit. You just quoted a verse where it say The father( the first person of the trinity) will send the holy (third person of trinity). If it was the father himself, it would have said I will send you myself. Then it says in my name. So even that verse Shows that Jesus is not claiming to be the holy spirit but it will be sent in his name. So you can see Jesus (second person) is talking about two subjects in that verse. So God is a triune God. Where is the scripture that shows it's the personification of God's presence?

Old testament laws are not Judaism laws, they are Elohim's (God) laws for those who believe and follow him trough his son, Yehusha (Jesus). Remember Yehusha said, "I did not come to destroy the law of Moshe (Moses) but to fulfill it. The law help us to set apart from the world and decreases the chances of quenching the holy spirit. Term such as Judaism, mainstream Christianity, Islam, African spiritualism etc are all Satan's doctrines. We as believers are supposed to read the whole Bible and the holy spirit will revil to us the word of Elohim. Look for the Elohim's way through religion or church denominations can be dangerous.
