There was no alliance between TMC and Congress before, alliance with AAP does not bear any fruit. There can't be an alliance with Left in Kerala, there can't be a 3 party alliance with NC, PDP and Congress. Rest are still intact. I don't think much has changed so far. But yes, INDIA alliance is on a shaky ground since this is not a natural alliance. Congress is still weak and if it wants to grow strong, it would at the expense of it's allays like RJD, SP and others. Congress must raise to beat BJP in the Hindi heartland.

INDI Alliance was only a sum total of the anti BJP parties seats. It is well known that each of them were cutting into the other opposition parties in the states. Only certain columnists acted as if it was news to them. There will be cohesion in the parliament as they would want to oppose BJP at least for their survival. While vested interest are gleefully predicting fall of Modi’s government I expect BJP to rope in more parties & seats and cross 325 by the middle of 2025. Already BJP has majority in Rajya Sabha. I expect BJP to take up Khattar Hindutva as Muslims have totally boycotted the BJP in 2024 polls. So the BJP flirting with Muslims is officially off with Sabha Sanath remaining just that-a slogan. A beginning has already been made in Assam. With UCC & Wakde bill in the anvil we will have more and more of polarisation.
