Baini same as you, I have struggled a lot. (may be all of us with foreign student visa). I did to limit my expenses by using point cards, shopping on less expensive supermarkets like Kanesue, Cainz home center etc., shopping home appliances on popular second hands shops among Japanese… About the Senmon college or university after finishing the language school, I got a lots of information from Sensei rather than others . Although I came to Japan before 10 years and I only know few colleges that accepts foreign students now but I think if you are good at Japanese language with N2 or N1, any college will accept. Hope you have good time.
