Oh, yes, hun, it’s a tough one. I don’t know if I told you but I know I told one of the other young persons with lung cancer that my SIL was diagnosed 12 years ago, had one lung removed and she is still here and doing well. People can and do survive. It’s perfectly normal to cry and to be scared. When I was 23 I had a chest X-ray for a job that I got. All 3 times there was some kind of shadow on my lung. All I kept saying is that I’m only 23 and I never smoked. Thankfully it was actually the machine they were using. I really thought u had to be a smoker, but not true. So in a way I know how u feel. I pray you get well again, and yes, be kind to yourself, let yourself cry if u want, eat special things, climbing that wall is right up my alley. Fun is SO good for you. God Bless You.

@ yes, it is amazing, isn’t it? About 5 years ago she had some kind of immune system treatment, but that’s it. The immune thing wasn’t even chemo. It’s really something, she is thrilled to be alive.
