@@devesh584 Hey, let me tell you a little bit about the part time segment. So first I applied in many retail units but unfortunately I got rejections from most of them, then I applied for social care work and got selected. The pay is good, they pay you 10-15 GBP per hour and 15 GBP on bank holidays (if you are working). Apart from that you get access to some exclusive discounts. So I’ll recommend you to apply in social care sector as much as in retail, give both the sectors importance since the day you land here. About the course, you can apply to any job with this degree that one can apply with an MBA, condition of getting an offer letter is of course your experience and if the company is sponsoring visas. Hope this helps :)

@@gurditsinghbons UK is no doubt an amazing place to study, but with an ongoing immigration scrutinising I will recommend you to read latest updates of immigration policies and future amendments for the intake you are coming in. Engineering is not my forte I cannot really recommend you whether or not to pursue your masters here, but if you decide to come here it’s going to be worth it. You’ll learn a lot from life and curriculum in general. Also SI-UK is a free agency you can reach out, they will help you out from deciding the college/university till your visa. The people who say you are demotivating them, they will know when they come here and suffer. I know so many people who came here and suffer mental stress, depression and loneliness after only couple of years. I have known people who were well off and was living quality of life in their home country and here they are just surviving. Free schools are only by taxpayers money. Home students get the loan but its not interest free and that too high interest until they finish their studies, then after that interest rate go down. Once they get the job the student loan gets deducted from your salary for some their whole working life.

Hi Gaurav and Avi, thanks a lot for this video. Me and my husband came to the UK this Jan for my masters. I can relate to many things you have said. Part time job is really a big stress, we both got survival jobs after 2 months of coming here and got accommodation after 1 month of coming here. It's been 4 months now, my husband is trying to look for a job in his field, he has 12 years of industrial experience in mechanical and machine maintenance, last he was working as a manager in India but we are flexible here to accept any position in the beginning. We are finding it really hard to find a job for him, he has applied at many places but not hearing back from the recruiters or companies. Also, I have heard people saying they prefer local people more instead of people from other countries. I have experience of 6 years in digital marketing from India and pursuing the same course here, but I am just afraid whether I'll be able to get a job in my field, because right now also, I see many part time jobs in digital marketing on Indeed but when I apply, I am not hearing back from them. Please guide what shall we do for my husband's job as it is creating a lot of stress for both of us and that's making us really unhappy and make us think that we should leave and go back to India.

I was born in the UK, I think what helped me was to improve my command of the English language. Immerse yourself in the language and the culture, read books and watch films. Always be ready to strike up a conversation with anyone and don't let fear stop you. Just saying "hello" to someone can make all the difference to your day and to someone else's. Secondly, you have to demonstrate that you can hit the ground running when you start a new job, bring value to the business and make a difference. Demonstrate it with examples. Wishing you all the best.

These individuals exhibit true hypocrisy as they selfishly prioritize monetary gains, forsaking their own country and neglecting their aging and vulnerable parents. Their actions resemble those of slaves, driven by a subconscious desire for servitude, leading them to migrate to countries where they serve individuals of foreign descent, whom they had previously expelled from their own homelands in the pursuit of freedom.

“Little knowledge is a dangerous thing”. Unfortunately you are either a victim of negative propaganda or just a butt hurt. Gone are the days when Indians or any other immigrants would only have odd jobs as an option. 😂😂 you are so right. People from less developed countries migrate for what? Of course it's for money and status, leaving their lives, careers, families and possessions behind! But guess what, you can never really gain status in a Western country if you come from what they call a 3rd world or developing nation because no matter what you do for a living or how shiny your car is, you will always be looked down upon by the locals and perceived as inferior. The only REAL status you can get in in your own homeland. Abroad, you'll always be a guest - naturalisation means nothing to the aboriginal inhabitants of a land. You'll always be ignored. This is the truth. Of course, if you are in denial, you will deny it.

@@Mouna-v1q for the record, as an Indian born living in the UK, your not looked down upon by anyone. Otherwise an Indian prime minister would not be a UK prime minister. To reverse it, doubt Indians would be happy with a white prime minister for India (if that ever happens), or prime minister of if black African decent.

I share Avi's sentiment - the initial phase can be challenging, even with a job and a skilled worker visa. Yet, with time, you begin to find your footing. The process of transition is never straightforward. Whether it's moving from the India to UK for work or study, it would similarly be an adjustment for anyone. Just like adapting to a new country, navigating busy airports can be a challenge too. That's where services like *Express Parking* can really help simplify the travel experience.

Thank you for sharing the reality. I'm from India and I'm a working professional (just to let you know I do not have ideas about technologies too much as I'm from a commerce background). So if I'm planning to complete my masters staying from UK, what is the probable rate of getting a Job there with extreme less technology skills ??

Hard work pays off anywhere in the world, however hard/smart working in the UK pays very generously compared to any third world country for sure. The UK is one of best countries ive ever lived in. However London has become a nightmare to live in due to inflation. Think smart. Start your business empire in the UK and outside of London and redevelop your motherland while you do all of this!

Thank you for this amazing video. Highly informative. I am new to this channel, but I can say that both of you’ll are doing an amazing job creating down-to-earth videos. Can you make a similar video, but from a viewpoint of a person coming to work there on skilled visa. Things like housing in London & neighbouring area, cost of living, monthly expenses (electricity, heating, food, etc), all essentials like insurance & others important things. I can’t obviously mention everything as I don’t know what’s important and what can done in due course of living in UK. This will be most appreciated and helpful. Good luck to you both. May God bless you with lots of success and a happy life😊

Hi Jyoti, it depends how are you comparing and how much work life balance difference you would like to see.. definitely work life balance in UK is better than India..In general, GPs in the UK are expected to work around 37-40 hours per week(which is usual for any other profession too) , although some may work more or less depending on their practice's requirements. They may also be on call for emergencies, although the frequency of these calls depends on their practice's arrangement.

Could you please help me understand something? In the past, we harbored a strong hatred towards white people who ruled over us. We were vehemently opposed to being governed by them and even forced them to leave our land. However, it is curious that now we seem to have a different perspective. We follow them to their country and view it as a great privilege to live under their direct governance once again. We even beg for their citizenship, seek asylum, and ecstatically embrace their flag. It raises the question of what "hypocrisy" truly means. Some argue that times have changed. Would this mean that if they were here today, we would have tearfully pleaded for them to stay?

Glad someone thinks on the lines that I do. Most of them are selfish. They want to have best of two worlds. Indian govt should protect it's citizen first. Those who availed system benefits should serve the country for 5 years. Min eligiblity should be there to avail system benefits as well. Unfortunately, nothing is going to change. Rich will get richer and poor gets poor in countries like India.

@@venkatnarayanan9246 You are correct.

@@venkatnarayanan9246 What do you mean by selfish? So if I find Germany to be technologically better and decide to study there I am selfish? If I invested money in studying abroad because education system in India is shit I am selfish? If I spent money to study abroad then to repay the loan I need to work abroad so I became selfish? Indian private companies make you work like a fucking dog and if I find the work life balance in developed countries good which gives me peace of mind, I am selfish? If I come abroad and find that the air I breathe is not polluted at all and there is no dirt and dust which is causing eye infection, then I am selfish? If I come to a European nation and learn their language because I like learning new languages and interacting with people who speak that language, I am selfish? If I like to explore the world as well as other cultures because I am young and want to live my life, I am selfish?
