What great students. What an honour to teach such an engaged class.

Wow--I'm always thrilled to see such inspiring, organized teaching. Great use of visual thinking strategies, and I was impressed with the protocols for student-generated questions. Reading and writing are strongly linked, too.

Thank you so much for posting this. I admire you and your brilliant, thoughtful students. I've so often felt that my Education Credential Program has let me down and discounted students' capabilities. Sending love and support to you and these impressive scholars.

was expecting the kids to chuckle when they heard "the man with the hoe" but I'm glad that they didn't :-D

I also teach high school English and always looking for ways to motivate often reluctant students. I like how you involve each student in the lesson. Any suggestions.
