Realizing LDCs’ trade potential

International trade represents a huge but under-tapped opportunity for the world’s least developed countries (LDCs), which remain the international community’s most vulnerable members. Exporting to international markets or importing strategically important goods can help them build value-add industries, become more economically resilient and lift populations out of poverty. But to grab these opportunities, they first need support to build trade capacity and infrastructure.
