That's a compelling video. At times I overuse certain phrasal verbs and words not due to the lack of vocabulary but because them come to my mind very quickly,then I reckon we just have to use synonyms more often rather than words we already know to get our brain used to other alternatives.

Hi, Anairis! Sólo quisiera corregirte algo en lo que escribiste, y espero que no lo veas como una ofensa ya que mi intención es la de ayudar solamente. Escribiste "...for making these amazing lessons and for create this channel." Después de "for" se debe colocar el verbo en gerundio (-ing) como hiciste correctamente poniendo "making", por lo tanto, "for create" debería ser "for creating". Espero te sirva.

It should be useful to learn how phrasal words could be divided as groups (how they work and why etc) and consequently learn them by different topics e.g. phrasal verbs you can use on daily basis and on each situation and phrasal verbs you can use on specific context (at work, with friends, at home doing different houseworks and so on)...same for idioms or Word formation... However...Good job😉👏

I want to learn more about...phrasal verbs. Some verbs can be understood easily, like get up, sit down, etc. They are logical. But phrasal verbs like - check in/out are totally confusing, I know that when you come to the reception in a hotel you have to check in, and once you leave the hotel - you check out. It's so confusing, especially if someone watched a movie and they advice you to check that movie out.

why do we use phrasal verbs, why do we use call of instead of cancel, cansel is more easy. why do we use 2 or 3 verbs to express 1 words.
@RealLifeEnglish12 жыл бұрын
Hello Guven! Thank you for your question. Single-word verbs are often considered stronger than phrasal verbs because single-word verbs allow you to be more direct and concise in your writing. Most phrasal verbs are informal and conversational, but some are academic. Sometimes a phrasal verb is more helpful if no single-word equivalent exists and if you want to be conversational in tone, so it’s important to learn how to use both forms.

Yo te entiendo muy bien cuando hablas pero cuando oigo a un nativo gringo , una película, o las noticias, ya todo cambia y no les en tiendo casi nada.. Por eso he llegado a la conclusión de que el ingles que enseñan aquí en KZbin es como muy formal como para escribir poesía pero muy poco útil para la vida real para comunicarte con los gringos porque casi no les entendemos nada y es porque simplemente pronuncian diferente cuando dialogan a como nos enseñan estos profesores de you tube.....
