My hometown in north TN looked better than this when I used to visit in mid 70s. That is 50 years ago. Absolutely crazy that villages in UP are like what villages were in 60s in TN. Just returned from my village and they have modern buildings and buildings better than what we see in Bangalore. Everyone has fridge, AC, cars and the less fortunate have 2 wheelers.

The problem of India is overpopulation, I wish everyone knows this. The population of Uttar Pradesh in 2024 is estimated to be 257 million. World second largest country Canada population is 40 million. In India even if you study very hard there's not enough job vacancy for even quarter applicants, on the top of that authorities are corrupted. That's why you can see so many youngsters from India specially from Punjab, Gujarat, Kerala, Haryana etc paid lots of money to come to USA, Canada, England etc. Some even sell their family generations own land and property. Those who can’t afford to go to west will go to Middl east countries. India is world second largest populated country and those population rapidly increasing in poor sector. So labour is very cheap in India. Thats why rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. India richest man Mukesh Ambani have 3 children and richest Bollywood couple Ash & Abishek have only one kid but people who get low wages and lives in slums have 5 children in average. Wake-up India before it's too late. Please have mercy for those innocent children who are force to fight their whole life for survival.😢🙏

Mukesh Ambani is an absolute disgrace . Spent hundreds of millions on his children weddings just to show how rich he is. He became a laughing stock outside India for his need to show off. At the same time Bill Gates is spending his time and money helping eradicate diseases in Nepal and villages in India. Bill Gates was once the richest man in the world but never felt any need to show off. The problem in India is the mentality of the people in power and those that are rich. To they only care about themselves and how much money they can accumulate and nothing else. As for children , poor people have a lot of children due to the high mortality rate of children from poor families in India. India has one of the world's highest mortality rate due to poor or non existing health care provisions for poor people. Bangladesh has a better child mortality rate than India. These factors do not affect the rich so they feel no need to have many children . The Indian diaspora have progressed a million times better than those in India as they adapted to their new environment and moved on from the corruption and other shakles imposed upon them by the Indian way of life in India.

Many villages in India needs improvement but the slums in Mumbai is a disaster and a disturbance to people’s health and wellbeing. Looking at the slums alone makes people sick for days. The villages are still free of pollution and dangerous conditions.

Why don't you mention the name of the village and the district in which it is situated as well as the date on which this video was made ? This is rather fishy. Or is it addressed to foreigners who would feel happy to see an Indian village poor and backward ?
