Working in shorter bursts helps prevent decision fatigue too.

That’s true! Good point.

Best advice I ever got was that nobody can take that burden off your shoulders until you put it down. If it doesn't work for you, it will work for someone else.

Although I have to run out and work on our former chicken coop / now shed, I'm leaving your videos running on a loop to help you build those view hours. 4000 is the goal! I hope you get to 1,000 subscribers quickly! I'm getting ready to start a channel as well. Baby steps!

Found your channel today & loving it! In this video of decluttering, I see you decluttering church materials. I always feel like I need to keep it all! What do you do with them?
@reallifewithali2 жыл бұрын
My reasoning with the church materials is that probably 99% of them are online or on the app I have. And we haven’t looked at any of them for years! The only items I’m keeping are books (not manuals) that we would actually read.

How do you declutter and not regret it at a later date. I have got rid of clothes only to bitterly regret it later.
@reallifewithali2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good question! I honestly don’t miss 99% of what I’ve decluttered. I can see the benefits of having less so that definitely helps! A good idea would be to put things in a “waiting” bin. If you’re not sure about it, put it in the bin and away in storage. If you go looking for that item, it belongs back in its place (your closest for clothes, for example). If you don’t use it for a year, it’s probably time to let it go. I hope that helps!
