Almost any announcement where an artist/creator says they are ending their career or shifting to another industry/career, its a sad and difficult thing to process. This video is very different. When Roland said that it's time to move on and do a shift, it felt so natural. You can tell he has thought out the entire decision. Its so wholesome and convincing to see how solid the decision is. I am very new to hard dance, and I have not listened to a lot of Bass Modulators, and I'm not a very big euphoric fan, but this feels very out of place. Enjoy your new endeavor Roland, and all the best to you Rick for carrying on the amazing legacy that Bass Modulators is!

I've been following you since "Music Is My Life" and what a ride it has been. I finally got the opportunity to watch you go live in Aairport Festival in Denmark in 2020 right before covid hit and that was a great set, which i enjoyed very much. Sad to hear the news but glad BM is still going to continue and glad that Roland found a new passion. I'm looking forward with Rick's new project. I wish he would release more tracks as Rick Mitchells. Hardstyle producers always make good house/bigroom tracks

Hard choice to make, but I'm glad that it was taken for the good of close relatives and better situations, preventing stress and bad times! That's the best choice and happiness is way more important than continuing a path that makes people unhappy :) Force and courage to both of you for this new separate directions!

I think most top hardstyle artists are now duos or solo artists that used to be a duo (NC, Hhz, Phuture Noize, Atmozfears, Wasted Penguinz to name a couple) ... Hahaha but I think more regular hours and more regular income is better if you have kids to be honest.
