Rob Edwards can take a lot of credit for how Luton conducted themselves this season. The Club have contributed to some excellent games and entertainment and drama. However, it was always a bridge too far - maybe with a new stadium and another good run next season the Club will be better prepared next time. Best of luck to a great club with excellent supporters.

It's almost impossible to compete in the Prem with a budget as small as what Rob has had to deal with. Credit for keeping things alive this long and making a mockery of Garth Crooks prediction. The loss of Lockyer early on in the season was a very heavy blow, if he had stayed fit who knows we might have taken two or three more points from those tight last minute defeats and draws and embarrassed Forest.

Saw Eddie Howe say that for all he'd done with Bournemouth, getting them relegated from the premier league stayed with him for months. But then he went and studied everything he'd ever done and says it was the reason he came back stronger. Maybe Rob Edwards does the same. Top fella. Really enjoyed having Luton in the league.

Make a good stadium, keep developing your youth and in a couple of years make a push. Don't aim to come straight back up, doesn't work, look at Sheffield United, Burnley and Huddersfield Town who are now in league 1. Stabilise like Norwich, and you will be back.
