I'm not a parent but I learned a valuable lesson watching you and Anne. You allowed yourself to stay calm and not react and in doing so, you were able to see that Anne was trying to help, not being mischievous. BIG lesson in not responding with anger. Thank you!

Little advice from a dad with an autistic son, next time she makes a mess let her help clean it up. You did all the wiping, I promise you in therapy she’s the one in there cleaning up behind herself. You’re right she is watching you and she wants to help. Most non verbal children are visual learners, if you add visuals to your decor around your house it’ll help her to communicate what she wants. I had someone from ABA guide me and prepare my condo for my non verbal toddler son. It helps. Im in Jersey.

You can use a warm blow dryer to make the plastic melt around the basket. It won't stick just do it a little.

I love Walmart but I hate going there 😂 girl I was traumatized last summer when I went for a quick cleaning products run and the power went off. I was like God why do I have to die like this AND in Walmart?! I thought we were under attack. Anyway, I love your dad!
