Mr. Ballen's story technique always makes me think these stories just happened or it happened in this decade but he tells you,"this happened in 1938." Or It happened over 100 years ago. It's really amazing how he tells it!

My gran worked for 2 drs. He was a tall guy 6'2". She was 5'1". This was 1949 but Dr. Ruth went to med school and internship in the 20s. She started a practice leaving my gran to watch the 4 kids. A lot of people were glad to have a dr "even if a woman". WWII helped elevate a few Pitt/UPMC female graduates 😊

You know what would be cool? If you played "satisfying" videos while the story was told. Ya know, like rugs being cleaned, slime, pressure washing, popping ballons with paint, maybe zit popping lol! OR speed run paintings. Show paintings from start to finish, but sped up. Idk, just some ideas. Also, the "gasp" or sigh or whatever the lady is breathing in the background every now and then is so weird. And distracting
