I love your collage cards!! I have tried a few and mine looked like a hot mess until I finished them. They don’t compare to yours but with practice I think I’ll get there. We have to remember that it is only paper so if we mess up it is OK, just try again and don’t give up. Your tutorials are truly inspiring and I love that you show us so many different examples. The liquid Tombow glue does Not have a lot of water in it so it doesn’t cause bowing. Glue that has a lot of water in it (like Elmers school glue) will cause bowing and/or using to much glue.

Do not doubt yourself. These cards are amazing! I'm thinkin of making a collage piece for my bedroom wall in purples and greens. Do you ever use patterned paper in a collage? The Lavender DSP would be gorgeous added in, I think. This is also out of my comfort zone, but your tutorial gives me encouragement.

Like the blending better than water color. But liked splattering of water pencil. Adds a touch of texture.

Question. On the first card, when you used the white ink, it was like using Versa Mark, and then you used white powder and the heat gun? Am I right? I also learned how you deliberately created a white space for a specific purpose. Love how you explore and talk so we can listen and learn as you learn!

Hi Pam! Yes, I could have used Versamark instead of White Craft ink. I was trying to show how you can add White craft ink stamped over your colors for a nice effect, but if you want it bright white then embossing powder is needed. Thank you for your very helpful and delightful feedback!😁

My white went o. Terrible. Not bright at all. Even when I embossed it ? Does embossing powder get to old ?

I have had some old powder that was more yellow than white. Perhaps that is the issue?

I used watercolor paper for these projects because they needed to hold a lot of ink and water.

Robin, what additional stamps did you use with the Trusty Tools to make that card? I am finding that I don't have the stamps to create the words and other background pieces. I really want to learn to do this because I want to use my stamps more. I haven't been stamping that long and I already have way too much DSP! haha
