Hi! Great Video.. one month ago my gt neo 2 back case just broke and after looking in the market I noticed that there were only non official replacements. I wanted to ask you if you think replacing it for a non original one would be a mistake. I guess you are mixing up the primary camera and the ultrawide camera. The bigger camera on the top is definitely the primary camera. You can also distinguish the ultrawide camera with its first lens element (a characteristic large convex element) (without tearing down a phone). It’s not the first time you mix up some cameras.

Yes you are correct, I realized I said the wrong one afterward but KZbin doesn't have an option to add a new clip etc. So I might just cut that portion out I will see. Usually I go based off the user manual and manufacture specs diagram.

Phones gets impermeability because they are closed with a sticker. Probably it won't be 30 min in 1 meter of water but since the glass should be still Gorilla Glass (aka plastic), it should at least resist rain drops. But these are just assumptions.

Hi, you wouldn't damage the mic since its seated above the hole but the filter is seated against the hole so you might have poked the filter. I don't think it should affect the water resistance since but can't be sure.

I play efootball2021 and this mobile heats up. Is it normal as they claim it has the largest vapor chamber cooling. My honor 8x used to be a lot cooler while playing the same game.

Keep in mind, just because the phone is heating up, does not mean its over heating. It can mean that the heat transfer is more efficient in getting the heat from inside the phone to outside the phone. If the phone is overheating you will see frame drops, lag or freezing etc. That's why some high end gaming phones have those outside fans to cool off the outside of the phone :)

Hi, I don't think it would work. The battery would be too large to fit in the compartment as well as the connector location would probably not be exactly the same.

It's not far off but not close either. You should be fine with the gt neo 2 its not a bad phone. Not sure about external fan and how much it would benefit.

Thanks! I usually give a repairability score towards the end of the disassembly before I re-assemble it and mention my thoughts on the overall process. However I will try in the future to mention any build quality issues I notice, but usually these phones for the most part are all built very much alike with either a uni body aluminum frame, or an aluminium alloy frame with a plastic border and are built strong enough to endure most things. So there isn't too much of a difference between most of the models on that perspective to dive to deep into that. It's been a while since I have worked on a phone which had a frame that wasn't durable and would bend or snap. :)

Dude, thermal paste on a smartphone chip does need to be replaced, as the cpu operates at much cooler temperatures than laptop or desktop cpus

But what I mean about the gt neo 2 is that the mid frame is aluminum alloy but the border/sides are plastic, you can see where the aluminum ends on the teardown and where the black plastic border begins.

The only writing on the flex I was able to see was: C1MA42 Q TECH-O B13114 75 Also I don't really think there would be any user end way of tweaking the tint on the screen itself. Usually would require either the software itself to be changed by the manufacturer or would be a hardware level thing like the actual type of leds or lighting being used on the backlight of the screen or the actual material and quality of the screen being the issue.

just get an iphone,the repairability of an iphone it's 10/10,i hate phone that are assembled using adhesive when you repair them it wont be the same,there will be gaps in the back glass,

You know that iPhones also have adhesive under the screen holding it down right? Not to mention so many different sized screws. iPhone repairs depending on what needs to be changed can be more difficult than most other phones. I promise you its not 10/10. Also if you replace the adhesive with the precut replacement adhesive made for the phones when you repair the phones, there will be no gaps or no issues with water resistance if the phones have it. Just for an example, here is a link to a different phones back glass adhesive replacement. You peel off the old adhesive, and peel off the cover on the new one and apply it to the frame of the phone and re apply your back plate. @@PBKreviews ohh good to know,but sometimes it's hard to find a precut adhesive here in my country, while iphone has it all,btw it's just my opinion but i still love phone's that requires adhesive to hold down the back glass,just a bummer sometimes i get my phones repaired but it comes back with gaps where dust can get in easily,i think it's just the phone repair shop not doing a good job putting back the back glass

it's just more easier to find iphone spare parts than these type of phones in my country😥
