It's not all about hardware but more about software optimization. Got alot of bloatwares. Compared to Samsung and iPhone software, its not that great.

Not to mention a shady policy of OTA updates that degrade your phone performance after just 1 years. Even flagships are being targeted. A phone that should work for 3, even 4 years without major problems are heating, dying and not charging properly immediately after OTA update. Many such cases, just browse the community and skip past all the bullshit pictures users post non-stop.

for 3600--3700RMB, i will always choose nubia z50s pro. also for a 3000yuan phone, why should we be satisfied with 8MP ultrawide and 2mp macro sensors?? there should be no sensors with less than 12mp . also it's really weird for anyone to think that users must be contented with selfie 1080p 30fps must .selfie 1080p 60fps and 4k 40fps is easily doable and must had become common sense even in 2020, let alone 2023. we talk about removing 2mp sensor, 3.5 jack & MicroSD support for years but i's really baffling how no one cares in their department and has approached like apple in doing what they think is good. even android from google is becoming more closed year by year.

Nice intro. In terms of pricing thought he comparison is not accurate. The gt 5 neo is a different series of phones. The last model in this series in China was the gt2 series and the gt 5 is not more expensive (actually the price of this seems to have dropped as the gt2 launched at 3,199rmb for 12gb 256gb). The Neo series is a lower level series so it will naturally have lower prices

well I get where you are coming from, but this was my reasoning... the gt neo 5 was also sold as the gt 3 and unlike xiaomi who does different phones under the same name... there was no dedicated gt3 for china... so felt like realme decided the neo5 being sold as gt3 is the GT3 in their lineage.. so made sense to look at it as the predecessor and not the gt2 also the design is a continuation of the gt3.. with the led lgiht to the back, as in the gt5 shares more in common with the gt3/neo 5 than the gt2 in terms of design... also afaik, the gt2 launched at 2599... base storage not withstanding, given its been 2 years and base storage going up is only normal... but ya the gt 2 pro did launch higher.... so again, I do understand where you are coming from... but just explaining my point of view

Hi Sundar, just wished to inform you about a scam that's being commenced by OnePlus India, they've made a public statement highlighting that 'OnePlus will replace 8t/8pro and come of 9 series phones but actually what they are doing is clearing unsold stock of poor spec phones. As per the OnePlus service center in Guwahati/Delhi (Okla phase 1) and call centre employees, screen for these phones might never be available and they are pursuing the customers to take the voucher option like insane. So please do something about it, if possible because you have the means of reaching the public which unfortunately we don't. Moreover I'll tell you something about my personal desire to not let go of this handset, as I believe out of everyone you will understand. This OnePlus 8 Pro handset was purchased by my dear friend who unfortunately succumbed to COVID and passed away. Before going to the hospital he told me to take care of his handset. So i kept it as his last sign. Now I am requesting the OnePlus service centres to provide me with a replacement screen even if i need to pay for it I will because this particular handset has very high sentimental value to me then cost of a replacement screen.
