One Plus, Realme both started as sub brand of Oppo! So, they are like brothers. I've used One Plus 6T and now using X2 Pro. There is a myth that the Oxygen OS is best Android iteration. But there are some drawbacks. Sometimes Oxygen OS has very aggressive background task management which closes some apps. But Color OS is less aggressive in nature and overall better. Yes, it has some pre installed apps but you can delete them.

Also when talking about low light, you mentioned only dedicated night mode, which is not the case for most random shots we take. I too bought a Realme x2 pro and before that i was using op 7t but after using it for a day i gave my op7t to my sibling and in my honest opinion phone is a beast in every aspect. Charging speed, it crushes every other brand one plus too seems to be slow. I found battery backup better than op7t. On the top of the cherry it has a headphone jack. 90 hz display and i can go on. Go 4 it without thinking, it's worth investing rather than to pay for op7t go for this beast.

@@C4ETech So far so good. Apart from a bunch of unnecessary apps which we managed to uninstall, she finds the experience of Color OS not very different from Oxygen OS. She was not a big fan of dark mode since apps like Gmail make portions of screen still white in background. So reverted back to default theme. Looking forward to Color OS 7 based on Android 10.

It's been 2 weeks since I bought this phone. Pretty happy with the purchase. The only drawback I would say is ColorOS.. I did face a few bugs like: -> once I had an issue attending a call when my wired headphones was connected. I had no issue with attending calls via my headphones, but issue happened when I tried pressing call attend button manually on the screen. -> Once the screen froze for 2-3 mins straight and for some reason it had telegram opened up. -> While typing on instagram direct, voice record got activated randomly. -> Whenever I connect my phone to my car via bluetooth it automatically starts playing audio from storage. I don't know if that's a bug or it was purposely made to do that. -> Once while spotify was playing music via bluetooth on my car, google assistant got activated randomly. All these are minor bugs I know, but all these happening on a phone that's barely 2 weeks old is slightly annoying. Other than that I love this phone overall.

The people who are claiming to be experts say super fast charging doesn't affect battery life. My Oneplus 5T only charges at 20w respectively, but can't say I've noticed much difference after 2 years. Someone I talked to has had a Huawei 40w charger for over a year with no problems? Not sure if there is much real research on it though.
