An immigrant from Turkey... putting to shame native born American's in virtues and work ethic values. I'm 70, I grew up in an era where if you didn't work, you didn't eat or have a place to live, and it was the unquestioned societal rule that you did your best to avoid. Now days, people expect or feel entitled to be bailed out… Whether it is still living at home with your parents at age 25 (or more) or expecting free social program handouts, such as "universal basic income (UBI)", that's being handed out without any requirement to do anything, in order to earn it. My self-pride and sense of self-sufficiency would never allow me to accept a UBI handout, unless I was truly down and out, after exhausting all avenues to earn my own way. For many, "homelessness" is a chosen lifestyle, and not due to unfortunate circumstances that were beyond their control. The expression of pride on Mike Rowe's face, as Ali tells his story, says it all.

The electric assist PediTaxis in Mexico City are great. Two passengers. They have good suspension. And can use sidewalks, go against traffic getting you to destination in half the time and half the price. I have a 1200 watt electric assist scooter good for 56 KPH/32 MPH for which I also built a 1X2 Meter utility/camp trailer. I live in Costa Rica and we have many hills 20 to 35%, even one that is 41% I can di 28KPH on a 20% uphill on throttle only. As I have not Residency this a solution, no license, registration or insurance required. I have a 110 KM range between charges. Can't think of anywhere in the US I would risk riding a bike, electric assist or motorcycle. I may be Risky Ron, but that a bigger risk than I am willing to take. I am 76 and until a uear ago managed my own power on steel frame mountain bikes.

I bet he is not a Democrat. Just saying...(The Cambridge Dictionary says that “just saying” is used when you complain or criticize another person in an attempt to make it less offensive. The takeaway here is that “just saying” is a way to dismiss a person's feelings and absolve the speaker of any blame for their hurtful words.) I googled "just saying", and that popped first in the search. Just saying...

Today immigrants can come to America and do well because they are givin everything they need and a place to live. They are treated better than homeless and most are here illegally. Very amazing what Ali has done and I'm not knocking him at all. I realize this footage is from many many years ago and times have changed but there is a major problem with immigrants now a days. I miss San Diego so much and it was great to see some of it again. Crazy those giant wax statues weren't there a couple years ago so they must of all been removed at some point? Cool to see
