might be a silly question, but from out of the box, does the screen have some covering that needs to be peeled off, as our 3rd Gen screen seems to be muted in color? Thank you for your reply on this. 🎉

Yes you're right - apologies this was a first impressions video - I have now been able to test it fully and my full review is live here - realmumreview.com/new-yoto-player-3rd-generation-review/ - You're right that the sound quality is VASTLY Improved especially on full volume. the original had a slightly tinny sound on high where as this one is far clearer audio and hear the base more. I wasnt convinced I'd notice the difference but absolutely do - its obvious almost instantly.

Thanks for the review! Lots of nice new features. One question - how does it sound against the 2nd edition? That was one thing I didn't like so much about the 2nd Gen - the sound quality for listening to music was pretty poor compared to the tonie box.

Good question! We’re doing our full review this weekend but yes the sound is significantly better! On full volume the original has a more ‘tinny’ effect where as the new one has more acoustic studio sound so is lots clearer x

Does anyone think it is pointless having both the mini and original.I mean the mini could be used out of the house and inside teh house

I got the mini for public transportation (for my child) and the original at home. I want a music player the whole family can enjoy together, and for that it’s gotta be played out loud and sound good! I just CANNOT listen to music in mono. It has to sound half decent. The mini is not going to cut it. It’s not as good as my B&O speakers, but it’s so much more interactive. I can put down my phone a lot more so we are making cards for grown ups. I recently put long form podcasts on MYO cards. It’s awesome. I want music and podcasts. I don’t want to have to pick up my phone.

@theproofistrivial7677 iv bought the mini and the new 3rd get I was going to send the 3rd gen back but might just keep it.Thing is we have the toniebox already my children love it so wasn't really sure if we should keep the mini and original

To be honest with you, I think this is better due to the fact we had to get a new charges after a while because you kept on breaking

@@vickyfisher-bz4jj Ahh, thanks for this! We really liked the wireless charger, but maybe moving to having it as an accessory not a requirement is better (even if it is extra money 😭)
