I just got back from a flea market where I spotted the Westinghouse fridge dish in yellow. It was in perfect condition. If I hadn't seen this video I probably would not have noticed it. The dealer was surprised I knew what it was. The best part, it was $10. It definitely came home. Thanks for all the knowledge you give your viewers.

I have Buffalo China restaurant ware. I grew up there and we could go to the factory and buy from there. I use it everyday. It is white with black trim.

Worked in a restaurant before you were born and earlier. The cups are heavy and durable. The staff can bang it around, throw it in the heavy duty washers, drop it, etc. Some of the dishwashers could take skin off your arms. They need to be heavy to resist all the abuse. I had great arm muscles from serving dishes.

At 3 minutes 48 seconds. You mentioned the atteberry swirl by Indiana glass canister. That is incorrect information I don't know where the incorrect information came from but it is rampid they are made by Federal Glass company in the 1970s and they are called show-off jars. You are correct about the colors that they came in. I have a catalog page from Federal Glass company.

He had several booths when he lived in Illinois. I believe he let them go when he bought the building. My memory isn't the best, but who knows, maybe he will get a booth in Florida?!

You picked up some restaurant ware and looked at it at the beginning of the video. Specifically Jackson China. I like the look of it also, and do own a few pieces as well, (I remember eating off it often as a kid when dining out) but they are responsible for what is arguably one of the most environmentally toxic/ polluted factory sites in the U.S. ( a huge part of why they went bankrupt, was due to lawsuits and E.P.A. non compliance fines totaling in the hundreds of thousands or even possibly millions of dollars + cleanup fees that were due and never paid etc. etc. They bailed on taking care of that, and just closed down their facilities instead, and attempted to run away from the problem! Leaving heavy metals and toxic sludge permeating the whole surrounding area. Toxified a nearby creek, endangering wildlife and humans. They polluted all the soils and groundwater around their production facilities. Created a mess various environmental cleanup orginizations and groups are still struggling with 25-30 yrs. later! But yes, they made some pretty and at the time popular wares.

Scotty dogs became very popular in the 1930's with Many famous people having the breed. Bogart, Bette Davis & Charles Lindbergh to name a few. President Roosevelt had one named Fala and because he Fala everywhere Some people think he made the breed popular! Fala was born in 1940 and once the only scotty that Franklin had, h also had a german shepherd named Chief. Fala was first named Big Boy.

Ocala is the “horse capitol of the world?” I thought it was likely the “horse Capitol of Florida? or the Southeast? But then there’s Kentucky and other horsey states like Virginia.

It's nice to see you at an antique store again but considering the high prices I can see why you have been avoiding them. Tbh I really don't enjoy the estate sales in the area, the majority of the stuff is not really vintage. We don't mind you going to antique stores and not buying stuff and just looking around.
