I know struggle, most these "rappers" aint been shot, done drugs, lost love ones to violence, etc. Tough situations create strong men, no wonder everyone is weak now. This song has so so much more meaning to me now that I'm 31...I was about 13 when it came out. Rappers such as Obie blessed us with deep and meaningful songs about their life struggles that somehow, people all over the world could relate to. In their songs they show so much heart, so much pain. I love how they seem so rugged but are really better people than many others. For example with how he shows love and respect to his mom and says he's sorry. I grew up listening to that music and relating to it without really ever thinking about it. But now I do.
