Russian is a very interesting language. As all languages it has assimilated stuff from other languages. The Russian language has bordered and interacted with so many languages. Swedish vikings founded the first Russian kingdom so i can sense a few norse words in the Russian language indeed, and many german and even more greek words as well. I just love Russia and how interesting the Russian language is to study, to put it shortly:)

When in a job interview with British Gas graduate employer , I asked about Foreign work and was told British Gas had work in Siberia. I would certainly choose Daria's premium course, though a Russian language using Job is essential.

Yes like this! Just how you explained here with the "Kag" sound. But still if you broke them down on the screen by syllable would be really helpful!

Well, that's a lesson learned! I've been saying Как дела as written all this time, and I've been wrong all this time. But nobody corrected me ... I recently learned to change -Г to -К, now I have to go the other way. "Russia is easy", said no-one, ever.

Most people pronounce it "Kak" instead of Kag. There are many words like this. Just remember that if a word starts and ends with the same letter, the first letter is voiceless, and the ending letter is voiced. The first K is pronounced as the English K ( Voiceless), and the last is pronounced as an English G ( Voiced). The difference between voiced and voiceless is that the voiceless consonant does not involve the vocal chords, and the voiced does. Put your fingers on your throat to see the difference.

Ok I may be pre-empting your next lesson and apologies if so, but I heard that this translation has problems and is better translated as "How's things?", If we ask "How are you?" the response usually begins with "I" like, "I'm good", "I'm fine" etc which is the wrong response. Everybody feel free to correct me in replies ;)
