Thanks for sharing this. Something is eating my coleus that are in containers inside and outside. I had thought of sprinkling cayenne pepper around the base but wasn't sure of the effect on the roots. Based on your information, there shouldn't be a problem.

Hi! No, to my knowledge it will not negatively affect the plant. Just remember you’ll have to reapply occasionally. But I hope it helps! 🌱☀️❤️

I laid tulle all around the edge of the garden yesterday, set out tubs of vinegar and corn cobs soaked in vinegar...the cayenne will be sooo much easier and less expensive and won't kill them! Hey you’re welcome! Keep an eye on it as it’ll have to be reapplied after a rain but it’s affordable and won’t hurt anyone (plants or animals) so I’m ok with that! ✌🏻❤️🐓🌱
