My client had a chicken named waffles. She would roam the neighborhood and was very social, went on paddle boat rides. Such a cute name :) Thank you for responding to my emails, (poop friend :) I love this channel, all the info... you're real and simple. Haha. Perfect!!!

Good to get caught up on your chickens. So sorry to hear about Val. I lost my Sassy girl last year to an impacted oviduct. She wasn’t going to get well and was just suffering so I put her down. Broke my heart. I still have 2 of my original birds and added 6 chicks in April. They are all doing great and I am awash in eggs. Experimenting with a preservation method called water glassing, so hoping we’ll have plenty of eggs through the winter when the girls are on break. All the best to you.

Oh no, I’m so sorry about Sassy. And yes let me know what you think about water glassing! Ive heard of it and think it’s fascinating but have never tried. How lovely to have a surplus of fresh eggs! ✌🏻❤️🐓

I have an oddly shaped run as well and bird netting just was a nightmare. I strung up rope crossing the run at different angles and hung the shiny things from those. It seems to be working so far. Not to alarm you, but is that a dead snake on the right hand side of the pen?

lol! You have great eyes! Yes I have fake snakes along my run and I move them sporadically. I think I did a video about it on here at one point, originally I put them in flower beds when my chickens free ranged because I thought it would scare them away from my plants. Now it is more of a joke than anything else. 😏
