We were in complete shambles when we drafted Trev. From coaching to personnel, we started from scratch, it takes time to build a contending franchise. We have slowly put together the right pieces on both sides and coaching wise.

With adj EPA Trevor is the 3rd best QB in the NFL and best in the AFC. Not saying Trevor doesn't have issues to clean up. But all the issues are not all on Trevor. Can argue 4 of his Ints last yr were solely on him. Just bone head throws. 2 were actually in the recievers hands but either was tipped up or taken by the defender. The other 11 where miscommunication plays. Which can be Trevor but also wideouts. And these numbers only went up after Kirk went down which was a huge blow for our offense. Trev has the talent. But we need the rest of the team to up their game as well.
@RealSwaggy3 ай бұрын
When I dig into it I realized how little of it actually was on Trevor. Drops, miscommunications, and poor offensive line play. I still think he can become a top 5 QB.

@maniacslap16233 ай бұрын
Yeah we depend on him to play above the real talent level of the team. And he does. He just has to clean up his turnovers like noted in the video. And yes, Kirk was definitely the glue holding the receiver room together. Zay being hurt left Kirk as the only one that could be trusted to do the right thing on a play to play basis. Once Kirk went down, this was highlighted even more. Ridley was redundant to Kirk and a lot less reliable. Not a good fit at all but definitely worth the swing. Hopefully he continues dropping passes and running the wrong routes in TEN lol

I love the Jags, hence my name 😂, but the O-Line is not much better. The only new guy is Mitch, who does seem to be very good, certainly way better than Fortner. But other than that everyone is the same. I feel like the attitude is that Cleveland, Scherff, and Robinson are good when healthy but they NEVER are. One injury, having players that always get injured, and we’re completely screwed. Idk hopefully they all do stay healthy but I really really wish we had done more with the OLine.
@mricemell0w3653 ай бұрын
He does have to get better at handling the ball but most of that blame goes on are oline mainly the center for not blocking he was the main problem now that we got a center it will be better but the interceptions some was him and some definitely are wrs

They will never be good again time to sell them and get a new team Trevor can only throw 20 yards he throws countless interceptions the jokeuars have nothing but rookies they haven’t been good since 1998 the only reason they went to the playoffs in 2022 was because of pitty they played so bad every team threw the game and handed it to the jokeuars the jokeuars have to cheat to win the only games they won last season was home games because they had hometown referees that ruled only in their favor all the other games they were destroyed it’s time for our city to sell them they are past their prime they are beyond the point of no return it’s time to sell them and start over the jokeuars have been no good since 1998 that’s over 20 years that they have been terrible 2022 was the first time they went to the playoffs since 1998 that’s nothing to be proud of and like I said the only reason they went was pitty because they played so horrible it was embarrassing we have the worst team in NFL history

Trevor was 6-1 last year in games where the Jags were able to rush for at least 100 yds. It's actually a pretty low bar, but the Jags only accomplished it 8 times out of 17 games. If he gets just the bare minimum amount of run support and pass protection, he can easily be a top 5 qb.

Uuuuuuhhh, no.... I disagree with the O-line is a lot better comment. We believed we fixed the center by replacing him. However, the rest of the O-line is the same from last year. Now the center by far was the biggest issue with the O-line, but the O-line is not A LOT better just because of it. We will have to see. Also, the biggest problem is that our O-line is pretty decent, but if they start getting injured, we have little to no depth which would become a BIG problem. So the O-line is TBD to be honest. We will see.
